    what is the little pair of purple binoculars on my thread that say "Watched", what does this mean? Am i in trouble or do something wrong on here?

    They are the threads you are watching. You can watch any thread you think is interesting. The system assumes automatically you want to watch the threads you start. That's what the number in red at the top is, new responses to anything you are watching.
