I'm hoping my wife will be keyholder at some point, but it will be a delicate and difficult conversation For today, I have put the keys in the car, which she is out in. I am wearing my device and will shut the lock in a few hours. That will give me a few hours of it being removable only via hacksaw

Thanks. I get it, and the plan *is* to have a discussion. The intent here isn't deception so much as... a head start. The ability to be able to say that I've tried it and like how it feels, it doesn't hurt or do damage to me, perhaps even be able to point to some good behaviours that it has lead to, if that happens. I'd make the analogy with when I quit alcohol, with which I had previously had problems. I waited until I'd gone dry for a month before telling her I wasn't going to drink again. It gave me time to think about the conversation and show myself and her that I could get off to a serious start. That conversation (almost two years ago now) went very well. This one will need more thought, planning, practice. As much as anything, I need to have my own thoughts crystalised before jumping in and asking my vanilla wife to hold a key for a device that locks my penis up.
