LOL - I had a Tumblr that featured dommes in ridiculous fetish gear, and captions that had poor, grammar and usage. I was blocked and Tumblr removed some of them because the owners complained.

 

I enjoy the captioned pics of both chastity and forced feminization...would love to know of more sites.

 

My captions depict my wife fully clothed doing something vanilla. The captions incorporate her speech patterns and refer to relevant events in our lives whether past, present, or future. I try to make it as believable as possible for us both.

I get inspiration from tumblr and BDSMR. When I find a caption I like I capture it in OneNote for revision and reuse with my own picture. I call the orphaned captions.

I'd say that about 1% of the captions I read are OK. 99% are lame.

Some of them don't even have a complete sentence? Like, "WERE PLUGGED". OK already Google translation, can't you make it sound sexy?

 

I’ve even gone so far as to correct some of the ones I liked. It’s a curse to have an eye for detail sometimes.

 

I used to do some part time copy editing, and bad grammar and usage in these make me nuts. Come on, guys, it's one or two sentences!

I've deleted my own caps when I have discovered a typo (usually transposed letters or a missing word).

Unfortunately, I've also found that the overwhelming majority of people writing them don't want to hear that they have a typo or bad usage.

 

And your captions are among the best (and I've read a megaton), thank you a lot for them!

I think life is a little too short to get hung up about the spelling on pictures or in chat rooms of fetish related sites. Besides there are lot of people with dyslexia like myself that probably would not notice ther spelling gaffes.

 

I generally appreciate the captions but I also find it jarring when the grammar is poor or the spelling is just off. The ones that really make me shake my head are the photos where you cannot see the woman in the picture because there is a 5,000 word essay running top to bottom of the frame.

Be sexy, be succinct and work the brain for the fantasy.

 

Many of them are low effort. They take a picture of a vanilla model, put some words how they are going to keep you locked etc. Yawn.

Typo police might want to relax their standards in cases like this?

 

I find intelligence sexy. I have reblogged captions with typos, but typos do diminish their impact. There’s a nagging inference in my mind that the woman who is speaking can’t spell, and it affects my reactions.

I can’t help my own reaction anymore than others can’t help to have their own opinions.

I am also amazed by the ability of some writers to create succinct and impactful captions. Sometimes I find the less words you use in a caption, the more the reader can fill in the details.

I cringe when I read a caption that’s so relatable up to the last sentence, and then it ends with something that rings untrue or ridiculous. I’ll choose not to Reblog and help propagate it.

Ok small fonts: I don’t browse on a laptop with a huge screen. I can’t read such small print on my smartphone. And I can’t read faint pink on grey, or other questionable color choices.



I do try to keep my hands off my genitals, caged or not, when I write. Writing for me allows me to gush out words when I can’t ejaculate otherwise.

My mental image of a caption writer who posts a caption with an egregious typo is a guy sitting in an cum-stained fabric office chair, bathed in monitor light, hunched over with one hand furiously rubbing their penis as they try to type and place text on an image, and post it before they nut. (Not sexy)

Idea: an application or webpage that lets a user make captions with a tool that automatically checks for spelling and grammatical errors.

This would improve the captioned image universe.

I really don’t have a bee in my bonnet about misspellings and such. I’ve tried to make captioned images. It’s harder than it looks. And the programs I used don’t have any facility to spell check, or help you write or place text.

 

I'm in agreement with @Peter Rabbit , except I have a slightly more forgiving view of those who post captions with typos.

I still find this to be true. Captioned pictures (like any other bit of fiction) take you out of the real world for a few moments. Glaring errors such as typos and misspellings show up *much more* in a three sentence caption. I've actually removed my own posts if I've spotted such errors.

I mean, come on, guys. We're talking, what, two, three, five sentences, tops? I've literally seen misspellings on single sentence captions.

And the long, tiny text blocks on small phones don't work well, either - especially when it's red on black, or grey on white.

I started using a little phone app called Phonto. It's simple, not many options, but it's perfect for creating short text blocks on top of pictures. And it also allows a black border around the text (or white, as needed), to make it more readable across color changes.

 

I'm a caption junkie myself, running a Tumblr account that I'm pretty active on. I've dabbled in making my own, but only on Android so far and I've been unimpressed with the captioning apps I've tried. Will happily take recommendations for ones that can shape the text box!

I got away from fiction stories, as they so often are the same premise, only encompassing the start of an unexpected chastity dynamic. I think maybe full, developed novels might be more up my alley. Consumed all of altairboy, gromets plaza, and a lot of literotica, and I'm just kinda meh to it now.

 

I haven't told my fiancee about the captions in earnest yet, just hinted about it in passing... It makes for a somewhat awkward situation. I try not to tease myself to the brink while locked and reading captions, the guilt of accidentally going over is heavy!

 

I know my blogs on BDSMLR and Tumblr aren’t as popular as Tom’s, and I like his very much. But I’m happy I got to 10,000 followers on Tumblr. The captions I create tend to use images of women in regular clothes and, being 52 years old, also liking larger ladies and being married to one, they tend to reflect that. I have a lot of pictures, but I try to put up about twenty new captions a week

I use GIMP on a PC, but this tip will apply to any editing software that works with layers.
Do two transparent layers, the first with a solid colour for the background of the text "box", then put the font on top of that.
Doing that you can do any shape, including speech and thought bubbles.

 

First, on blogs marked as "Explicit" you hit a wall with headache and eyestrain inducing graphics, with a text block reading

Directly under that, you should see a link:
Go to my dashboard

Click that - It will take you to your own dashboard, and (on a PC), the Explicit blog will show on on the right side of the screen, with the most recent posts first. On your phone, the blog will show up front and center.
