That's the second message from you I've read in the past few days that's resonated on this subject. Men being men, there is a tendency to fetishize the cage, as though that is the be-all and end-all. Obviously, most of the men on here do not think that because they've moved beyond that. But in general I think it's probably true of most men who dabble with the idea of chastity.

But what you're saying takes it way beyond the cage. It's about the engagement, the mental contact and the mental contract. That is so much more powerful.

Thanks Breathe, I would say that if i were more proficient on English, but that's my idea for a better world, women leading not for the will to lead and conquer like men do, but for showing them how life can be more fulfilling with the male sexual desire redirected to another higher center.
I believe on the power of love to attain that, not with physical power, but with the natural female born mental strength.

 

@LesterBallard and @Joan.t I'm pleased to see you bring this up. I'm a newer keyholder, and I keep feeling like I see the same situation again and again, where the men are very focused on themselves, their cage, their experience, almost to the point of overlooking the KH's experience or considering that there may be deeper elements that could be explored.

 

Spot on, Lady Moon. When I first started getting interested in D/s it was embarrassingly crude. It was completely about my self-gratification. Over the past year it has deepened and I thought the idea of chastity was taking me to a better understanding of the Female/male relationship. But I see I'm only part way there. Your comments and those of @Joan.t are helping me enormously.

Many think when we talk about caging and chasting that we are being naughty and sexual, that's only part of it, there's much more, this is only the beginning of a long journey into the development of mind and soul of men.
The way I see it, women are the ones that can lead for a better world, teaching men how to surpass the stage of animalistic sex to a higher conscience, that's what I firm believe.

 

I think this is undoubtedly true. The big question is how to achieve this on the bigger scale. It is easy, one-on-one, to enlighten individual males, but the male population as a whole is difficult. And particularly the idiots who lead our governments. Oh for a way to enlighten Mr Putin or Mr Trump.

 

Easy my friend? Not so, difficult times ahead, even for one-to-one, impossible for the whole male population.

 

Yes, perhaps that was typical male arrogance there! You're quite right, seeking enlightenment isn't easy. But we must keep trying.
