    Get the device. You can then get used to the sizing and comfort before you really meet anyone, and learn from the experience. Last thing you want is to get a keyholder and then 24 hours later have to beg to be released because your new £100+ device is rubbing on your boybits. When you find someone, the purchasing of a new padlock can give it meaning.

    again there is no right or wrong, but i would think, logically it makes sense to have a device that fits. In my case, the relationship came first, then the device and the padlock came with the device

    I could tell you in the most used currencys on CM that devices are available for £ 20or $20 ish delivered.
