Hey y’all, I’m relatively new to the community, and I have a problem. I’ve had a couple cages now, but only ones I can afford on my minimum wage job. I can only spend about $15-30 on a cage realistically, and they all break SO quickly. Does anyone have a recommendation for a cage with a lower price and good build quality? Also, I’d really appreciate if someone were to be willing to send funds my way, but I’m not pushing it too much.
Try the Ternence devices available on Amazon. They are good quality stainless steel devices. If you are located in the US you should be able to get one for $30.
Welcome and yea I have a suggestion. Get that $30 and put it in an envelope. DO NOT touch the envelope no matter what. Your next pay get cash for what you can afford and add it to the envelope. Again only touch the envelope to put the money in. Keep doing this until you have $300 or $400 then contact Mature Metal. Look up the envelope method of saving money. Btw this is an old fashion saving method used for a long time by many women to make sure families always had some cash. A more modern version is some banks and credit unions can let you create savings accounts online that you can use to manage like envelopes. The idea is to "pay yourself first" and forget about what you have in those accounts. I actually have done this to buy a car, and to buy a house. The trick is to not spend every penny, and to not hit it for so called emergencies which aren't. And yes I know how hard it is to work a low paying job and to be unemployed and under employed. So savings can seem impossible at times but a tight budget, hiding a little each pay and being disciplined really can start adding up fast. So good luck, and please learn to save some money. In fact, if you keep doing it after you buy your cage you'll be surprised at how much you can save. And if you keep upping the amount you save when you get raises and better jobs it can make a huge difference in your life!
As others have said…save. Super easy, just deny yourself a few of the extras you have now and then and you’ll be amazed at how fast you can get $200-300. Certainly do this only if you’re serious about locking things up…it can be an expensive lifestyle, at least if getting “the cage”. Look in the for sale section on here…folks often have really good deals on cages - of course finding one in your dimensions may take time but it’ll be worth it in the end.
On the face of it I have over the decades spent a lot of money on chastity cages before this last one which seems to be the right one for us. A custom job from Badass you will make mistakes along the way, for most people only experience with other devices will help you make an informed decision on what you want When i consider what I have spent... it is far less than many folks spend on their plastic cups of coffee or having that quick drink after work on a friday.. Save for what you want and the expense becomes relative
Most of us here have a drawer full of good cages that didn’t work for us. Figure out your size and you may be able to get a donation , especially if you cover the $5 flat rate shipping from USPS.
The one in my profile pic is comfortable and very strong. Look for metal cobra mamba on Aliexpress may take a while to come, but isn't that the point of chastity.
Sadly society has gone from being taught to save to spend spend spend. People get in a cycle of living from paycheck to paycheck. Then when an "emergency" comes up they use credit to get through. Then things get tougher and tougher. I believe in the "pay yourself first" method. Every payday take an amount (ideally 10% or more) and put it in a savings account. Pay your bills, then what's left is what you can use for whatever. In my case I keep a mental budget of how much "fun money" I can spend each pay period, and how much misc expenses. I also closely watch my accounts and only use credit cards to get the points and pay them as soon as I use them. So I get cash back that goes into savings! So I guess you can say I also live "paycheck to paycheck". I just make sure that it's after I save. Plus it's fun seeing savings grow. Nothing like earning "free" money from interest even if it's only al little bit. Anyway I'd suggest everyone who isn't doing so to find a way to save $5 a week (or more). Bump it to $10, (or more) then make savings a habit. FYI, I've gone through some real hard times so I get how are it is to not save. Hence why I think it's so important.
Me too. I would have really liked it when times were real hard. It was rough for a few years and anything would have been very helpful. So I HELP others when I can. I'll donate food and/or time but I'm careful giving money. Money only goes to causes that I think are really worthwhile. Food I think is always a great thing to give those in need. And time be it working on a Habitat home or teaching someone to read is very valuable IMHO.
Aren’t you a saint! You deserve a go fund me account. A random dude wants money to cage his cock up, isn’t exactly habitat for humanity or setting up a food pantry. If 30 bucks is a financial hardship, then maybe a dick cage is a poor choice. Maybe a kink forum is not the place to ask others for money.
LOL I've never taken handouts nor asked for them. Well except in jest. I'm with you. Hence why I suggested getting into good financial habits. A few small changes can really impact someones life. Learning how to save a few dollars (or pounds, or Euros, or whatever) every day or week can really add up! Maybe we should start a used cage exchange ;-). We take 10% off the top for connecting people with cages they no longer use/want and get them to people who want to save a few bucks!
Oh my, I’ve got 10 or so in a box. Some are actually very nice, just not worth the hassle of shipping and or wanting to keep a somewhat safe distance between the target.
Knew a guy who started doing this with his first paper round (route whatever) 10% every month and when he started work at 16 he carried on plus all that was left at the end of each month.. A few shrewd investments and he retired at 45
