BAW BA-31P with glans retainer ring and in purple

    I placed an order almost 12 weeks ago at BAW, and just received it a few hours ago. So this will just be my initial impressions for now.

    This is all the facts from my order:

    Model: BA-31P
    Material: Titanium
    Lock Mechanism: Burg Master Lock cylinder (I have a key from chastity-shop.com I want to use)
    Base Ring Quantity: Cage with 1 base ring
    Chastity Cage Overall Length: 75mm
    Penis Tube Inner Diameter: 35mm
    Base Ring Inner Diameter: 45mm
    PA hook: None! Instead add 3 glans retainer rings in 24, 25 and 26 mm diameter. Made as complete solid rings. Place 2 cm from the tip of the cage, like the drawing you have on the PA location.

    Other Sizes Details If Needed:
    Horizontal gap 8mm.

    More Style Details If Needed:
    Color should be Purple 22v (I know it is not recommended).
    Make hole to allow security seal through the lock.
    Head should be “Style B”.

    I am very impressed with the look, quality and the light weigth!!

    They have been very helpfull at BAW, I have changed my mind (and order) many times during the last months, and they have always been helpfull and friendly.

    I am very happy with how much I could customize everything I wanted, this is truely the cage of my dreams. If anybody is wondering, yes my wife loves the color purple :)

    I cannot speak about long term wear, but it least it feels very good after a couple of hours ;)
    But I report more in some weeks.

    As for the retainer rings, I have no idea on how I would pull out. And it would be impossible to get back in at least.

    The selected purple color is not recommended by BAW, but I see no issues with it at all.

    That looks really good. I wish BAW would post pictures of customers cages to help promote their capabilities and so customers could see something they didn't know was possible.

    I would think if you can get a glans ring on, you would be able to pull out of it, maybe not when your excited, but still possible at times. Very interesting though. You should do a video of putting it on.

    No not the way it is fixed to the cage, it locks down when you pull.

    Weight comparison between Plastic, Titanium and Steel. The cages are not identical, but it gives a order of magnitute.

    The Titanium FEELS almost as light as the Plastic, and a lot lighter than the Steel one. Even though the numbers place it quite in the middle of the two.

    I have not sleept in my new cage yet, I will wait a week and get used to it while awake first.

    That is, indeed, a very lovely cage. The colour looks very uniform too. I'm waiting for a Cherry Keeper at the moment, but with the firm intent of getting a Ti BAWR device once sizing is dialled in.

    One question : how does the anodized surface feel? Some anodized aluminium / aluminum can feel grippy or grabby when sliding skin across it. Hopefully, since Ti anodizing doesn't use any dye, that won't be the case?

    Like the glans ring idea but did not catch exactly how do they attache to the device. Is attachement point 2cm in to tube? Does it pivot? Pinch? Gf might go for purple

    Many is asking about the glans ring. I will try to do my best to explain. I can only show pictures of one of the spare ones and my hand, as I am locked with no access to the key.

    The ring can move very freely in the hinge, the entire “ring unit” is locked into the cage between the base ring and the tube.

    You place the ring just behind your glans, this has to be a perfect and quite snug fit (that is why I ordered three sizes). It takes quite some squiching for me to get it in place. If you try to pull back once in place, it will tilt back and grap very hard.

    I will try to record a video once I get the hang of it, right now I am still learning how to arrange stuff when putting it on. Once everything is in place, there is no pinching or discomfort.

    There is always questions about the glans ring designed for anti pullout and questions on how it works and how effective it is. I have 3D printed myself a tube only device held on by a glans ring and on the post describing this there is a photos showing how hard you can pull the device and how the ring clamps down. They can be very effective if sized right and will be more effective in a fully closed cage like Iron78's where you can not poke something in to try and hold the ring vertical when you pull.

    Looks like lining up the meatus for urination is pretty chancy? I wonder if the support could be made flexible enough to allow fine tuning of the "aim?"

    I've tinkered with modifying Chinese devices with retention rings, the idea has merit, but I think one could always reach from behind with something like a chopstick, pen, etc. to hold the ring in place and pull out. Reinsertion would be more challenging, so it's more tamper evident than escape-proof IMO.

    I do have an idea for refinement of the concept: an elastomer retention ring. Plumbing O rings are widely available in any number of diameters, and as they are obviously not rigid, it would be a lot more difficult to hold one in place and escape. If the ring were pinched closed by the mount, it would be extraordinarily difficult to reinsert after a successful escape.

    After looking at your pics and Castmenow's pics, it is very interesting. I think a titanium one like yours with the glans ring locked to the cage without a ball capture ring might work almost as well as a PA.

    It does take some practice, but I am getting better at it. However it does work very well, there is no way I am pulling out of it.
    But I am a bit afraid on how it will work, once I need to take it off while being “excited”, not sure it will be easy, but I have not tried it yet.

    Not great to be honest, I should have had a bit wider cage in order to clean things.

    But for me it is not an issue, due to sports I have to uncage 6 days a week, so I clean almost daily.

    Had my first attempt to sleep in my cage last night. Woke up with quite some discomfort from the retainer ring, so I had to take it off and I still was a bit sore afterwards, where the ring sat.

    I will try the larger ring I have next time. During day time there are no issues at all.
