Yes I get where your coming from. I thought maybe something involving hearts as a sign of devotion to our partners but then that doesn't reflect our self locking friends here. Would something like a symbolic rose work as then it can symbolise being true to your partner or yourself! Must say the key around the lady's neck in the CM header is very tasteful. Just my thoughts.

Chastity would seem to me to be white - the purity, non-physical element.

Pearls have always been a symbol of chastity and purity. And they're white(ish)

 

Pearl as a color is a good thought....It is not the same as white, but is close.

An interesting topic.

I like the idea of the colour white and the the pearl as symbols of purity.

It got me wondering if there was an animal symbol men in Chastity could connect with?

Not sure where it all began but the stag has long been a male symbol.

I seem to think the bull has become associated by alpha males.

The elephant did spring to mind as men in chastity are encouraged to be strong and hardworking. I believe they are also associated with purity. The thought of there trucks being soft and naturally downward seemed also seemed to provide a contrast to the strong upward facing horns of the stag and bull.

A similar thought can be had about animal symbols for ladies. The hen has often been a symbol but with a modern day perspective may considered weak to the stronger minded woman of today.

 

I found this, it's the general idea but could be much "prettier" ie exquisite or intricate. Anyone want to draw a fancier version?

 

Some might say it is a very wise decision to adopt a chaste lifestyle and being more open minded about a female lead dynamic.

I also think of wise monks who deny themselves various pleasures in a very challenging lifestyle.

 

The peony is a symbol of masculinity in Japan. It would be cute to design a bouquet of chastity meanings that a man can give to his Lady <3

Thanks, I guess it depends on the dynamic of the Domme / sub realtionship.
If you're into taming your partner into a supportive compasionatec gentlemen then the elephant seems a good fit. But if you're more into the degradation, humiliation side which I'm not a fan of, I could see the salamander appealing more.

 

I can't abide the salamander as a symbol if it implies degradation, because I don't see anything degrading about male chastity. To each their own, but I'd pitch a holy fit if someday CM tried to put a salamander on the banner.

I've always said, making a man my servant is an elevated status compared to the general population. I don't take a man as a pet to make him feel *worse*.
