Sounds like you're off to a fine start. Gradually working your way to some serious chastity. That's how my wife/mistress and I started. We went from a week to ten days, then a month, then three months, to the full year 2014. Now, it's completely up to her, minimum three months to whenever she decides. I am released every ten days or so for a supervised cleaning and a shave. Sometimes a teasing, but then right back in the cage. I have come to hate bags of frozen veggies.

You could always assist you wife's pursuit of her goal by asking her to both keep you locked and denied for a little longer initially.

I agree with @filltee though it is really up to the needs of the wife as to when you get unlocked. I had my first orgasm in nearly six weeks at the weekend and it was explosive. I am not expecting to have another this year so it is going to be a good few weeks at least. I am going to ask my Wife whether we can build up the time between orgasms further next year to see if it has any affect on my attitude towards her and our relationship.
