Unpleasant odours -tips and tricks requested.

    I have experienced that while wearing my device I have a tendency to manifest unpleasant odours that others have notest and sniffed at as a sign of innate discomfort. The odour is generated from the tesicals having been stretched for several hours and the depletion of a flow of precome fluid.

    This phenomenon has been one reson I have chosen to resist practicing chastity for exstended periods or in the company of work colleges.

    I regularly drink a small amount of plant based Chlorophyll to dissipate odours related to excess testosterone and excitement.

    I would like to know how others have takeled this same problem. And if as I suspect it is related to the style of device chosen.

    its prob cos its a plastic one and they do pong a bit.

    If you have an open design, steel cage, with normal cleaning when showering, there should be no smell. As @jemima said, if it’s plastic, and a closed design, yep, they will get smelly.

    So whats the average recomme ded time for staying in a plastic HT v2 before removing for cleaning?

    depends on how refined the olfactory is.....for me, twice a day or he stays away.

    i dont know why folks has plastic ones really cos metal ones dont pong and they not heavy unless you has to have a great big one.

    It would seem that most of the funky smell comes from urine that has been trapped within the cage and or on the skin. Possibly also a funky skin rotting kind of smell if there is no air movement or chance for the skin to dry out a bit... kind of like if you had a cast on for an extended amount of time or even a band-aid on for a few days.

    Air is one of the key things needed to help keep the funk away as well as good hygiene.

    I have started dipping into a cup of water every night before bed to rinse away any urine .. and fortunately for me my device has plenty of ventilation to help dry it all out.

    Of course a closed tube design won't have much ventilation capabilities..... which perhaps could be a good reason to get a piercing and get a non ball trap kind of device?

    As was mentioned any of the closed plastic devices will get a funky smell.

    I used to take mine off every other day to wash with with antiseptic soap and tried numerous antibacterial sprays, wipes and dips from bleach solutions to cavecide but could not get rid of the the smell.

    That was the primary reason for getting a a custom open style stainless steel cage.

    I actually don’t mind the odor- it’s all part of life in chaste as far as I’m concerned…
