New cage arrived. Visual inspection the outside and rings are very well polished. In between the bars and inside the cage could be polished. I’m not detecting any spots or edges that would cause any issues. Of course actual wear will show things that I can’t see or feel with my fingers. I’ll be trying it out later on this evening for fit and feel.

 

Quick update on the new cage. Has some initial issues with scrotum and ring similar to prior issues with the Chinese metal cage (see previous updates). I had to take it off last night (more on that experience later). Put it back on this morning and have been able to wear since. So far so good. Just a couple of little things that I’ll talk about in my next update.

Locked again. I ordered a 50mm ring for the Chinese screw lock cage. It’s actually 52 1/2mm so it’s definitely big on me. But I’m able to wear long term without any of the issues I experienced with the 45mm ring originally ordered. The only thing I dislike about this cage is urinating. Messy. No way around it.

I’m waiting for Bon4 to sell the individual new hinged rings so I can order 48 & 50mm rings to get the proper fit.

 

Bon4 finally added the new style rings to their site. They have a “coming soon” notice. Hopefully I’ll be able to get them befor the 1st. Would be nice to have a solid device going into the New Year.

 

The new rings for the Bon4Micro came in last week. I’ve been wearing occasionally since then. Primarily just at night when I’m in my bedroom. Today is the first run outside of the bedroom. I have a Christmas party to go to tonight and I will be locked for that. Pretty exciting as it’ll be the first time locked up with a large group of people I’m interacting with in one location.

I’m building up for some long runs in 2019. My New Years Resolution.

 

Day 4 locked. Not an abundance of frustration yet. I am happy to say that there have only been a few moments of irritation from the cage. A little baby oil gel clears that right up. Otherwise the B4M has been great. It helps having squirreled away the keys. I might have unlocked during those moments of irritation otherwise.

 

Lock up period 1, day 5

Not sure if others experience the following:

The sex dreams started up last night. This happened the last time I did a week plus lockup. In the dreams I’m not actually having sex but I’m in a sexual situation. Someone is hitting on me or vice versus. There is some teasing going on. Sometimes in the dream I am locked up. Sometimes not or I don’t notice. I find this to be a fun part of the experience even if I can’t do anything about it when I wake up.

Frustration has not set in yet.

 

Was unlocked for a short period of time with some chafing recovery from the base ring.

Relocked last night but went with my evotion 8 knockoff. It was my first cage and I guess you always pine for your first. It’s a comfy cage and getting on last night went surprisingly well. It’s just not the best fit as it’s too big (even though it’s the small version). I’m sure I’ll swap for the Bon4 in the next day or so.

 

I’m back to locking up in the screw lock cage. I just can’t get into enjoying the Bon4 unfortunately. There are a couple of flaws that just turn me off to it. 1) it’s a little large depending on my flaccid state. 2) the lock knocks on the cage and is loud. It also has a tendency to hit foreskin that is poking through the bars which can be quite unpleasant. 3) the post requires you to screw it into the cage which at times can be very annoying.

I started back to the gym this past week. Long overdue but I’m in the right headspace now to be motivated. Today was the first time I went locked. No issues! I’ve been in public a lot caged up but this felt different. I was very conscious of the device and concerns I might do something to cause me some pain. Fortunately everything went well.

 

They say it takes 21 days to form a habit. I’m not sure if denial is more forming a new habit or breaking an old one. My at times overwhelming urge to get off has certainly lessened. I still like tease and denial. When I’m not locked I’ll edge and then quit. When I am locked I’ll check out some of my favorite sites/videos. The goal here, for me at least, is not celibacy for the rest of my life after all.

25 days and counting of no release.

 

28 days. That’s the longest self imposed length of denial for me. It’s been a very interesting 4 weeks. A lot of temptation, which is really difficult for a self locker.

The countdown/countup app has been helpful as it’s a visual reminder right in my face.

 

Ladies, sychophantic behavior - yes or no?

 

Three new cages and two new sounds arrived this week. I’ll be trying them out this weekend.

Now wearing a Nub knockoff. Wow do I like the fit and feel of this cage. Hygiene is the big concern though so we’ll see how it goes.

 

Still really enjoying the Nub. Based on a recommendation I bought an ear wax cleaning kit. It has a squirt bottle with small tips attached to a flexible hose. This should help with the hygiene issues. Trying it out now. I would really love to be able to wear this longer than 1-2 days at a time.

I’ve also been experimenting with Chastikey. It’s a decent experience though I haven’t actually dedicated a key to it yet. I just received a small lockbox contraption. My goal, if I can wear the Nub for longer periods of time, is to do an actual no keys available lockup after my out of town work meetings later this month.

In my latest toy order I received 4 sounds. 2 came with cages. The two non-cage ones are on the large size but have been fun so far in trying to get accustomed to them.

 

Going to run my first truly imposed lockup this weekend using Chastikey. Keys will be locked up until the code is released. Spare will be put in a very inconvenient place. Should be interesting. As a self locker this is pretty exciting to get to this point.

I’ll be locking in a Nub. So the only sensations I’ll get are from a narrow sound I have that will fit through the front opening.

 

Been quite a while since my last update. I’m coming up on 2 years of locking up (off and on). I would guess I’ve been locked up 50% of the time these past 2 years. I still haven’t found the “perfect” cage but I really do enjoy the one I’m wearing now. Ultimately I want to find a partner to give my keys to and finally realize what it means to lose control. So the search continues.
