After advice from @Nicoftime and @Vinny I've switched devices from a hinged ring to a solid one. Can't believe the difference! With the hinged, flat profile base ring I had to wear the 45mm one as the 40mm caused irritation under my sack within an hour. The 40mm solid 'donut' profile ring however is so comfortable, with the added benefit of the cage design keeping my foreskin contained, so no pinching. Also can't believe how easy it is to get on. My Wife said "How the fuck did you fit that through there?!" So the good news is I think I've finally found THE device I can wear 24/7 with no issues. Obviously that's also the bad news too....

Yeah hinged is the devil! So pinchy. I always surprise myself by how small a solid ring I can get it all through!
It did look impossible at first glance! I'm very much a grower - bugger all at times, but complaints from my ex that I was bruising her cervix.... 0 - 8" in 4.5 seconds! It does need to be absolutely unaroused to get into the 40mm ring, but once in it is SO comfortable it's difficult to believe. And just about to be released after 10 weeks of lock up. Birthday weekend away at a country house - She's just having a nap, then it's a shower in the wet room and the best birthday present ever!
