Hi everyone I'm pretty sure I did an intro some years back, so think of this as an outro - of sorts. I'm resigning as a Mod. It's been fun at times, a drudge at others, but I've done my best to be as fair as possible and to treat each issue on it's own merits. Some of the campaigns I ran as a mod are still being used as policy and so I can happily feel as if I've done some good here. Others I had less luck with, but such is life. I'll stay around a bit, and drop in here and there but I'll not be operating as a Moderator from here on. I've thought hard (not much) over the last day or two and there's no way I could continue to work with the current direction of the Mansion, and for that reason alone I hearby resign. I'll finish off with the words the queen used to use when launching a ship, and commend those same words to you all, and to the Mansion "May god protect her and all who sail in her" Have fun out there, and play nicely. I don't like change, sometimes it's good but it's never easy....its a shame that you don't like the direction....should we all be concerned? But you can only fight change effectively from the inside....just a thought.

I think that as Mod you have made some great contributions. As for the future, I hope you'll continue to look in. I think it's a bit too soon to judge the current direction and where it's going as none of us (certainly myself) are entirely sure what this precisely will be till Jens makes more announcements!
Verity and I haven't always seen eye to eye but I want to remind everyone he did a great job running the site single handedly while jens was away earlier this year.
