    A subdivision is a planned development with individual smaller lots with homes on each. Can be 20 lots or 500 lots depending on the size of the site. Can also be a mix of townhomes, apartments and single family lots.

    The first time I learned that chastity devices for men exist, I was a college student watching a daytime, national talk tv show: Donahue. They interviewed married couples who stated that chastity either saved or improved their marriages. Some of the husbands claimed to have cheated before, but were now devoted to their wives. I want to say that one was a semi-truck driver, but it's been a few decades.

    The phrase "key holder" wasn't mentioned, and I'm unsure if the CBs were being produced then - this was the late 80's. The audience was mostly somewhere between amused and dubious, but the couples seemed happy to be there and share what they'd discovered. Phil Donahue himself, of course, varied between actual interviews, audience questions, and the occasional bit of snark.

    I have to admit, until a few years into the kink scene I mostly forgot about the episode: those weren't "martial aids" that I was seeing in sex shops - even ones that had a kink section, for a very long time.

    I expect that the Donahue episode may have sparked interest for a lot of viewers who wouldn't have dared been as forthcoming about it as the guests even now.
