I am thinking about getting a new cage. I have had metal stainless steel kind with a pad lock. If when you got new cages what kind as in metal, plastic etc? What kind of lock? Had a tumbler lock had trouble locking it. What about tubular pin tumbler lock? I say cage is maybe 1.5 inches long from top end to end and non erect i am about 4 inches and no problem going in and wearing the cage. Can i go smaller?
