    How do you know you don't get erections when you sleep?

    Also history if you've been caged for awhile your body could be trained at this point not to have them. Or your cage fits so well that you physically can't.

    As an experiment I'd try sleeping with out the cage and see if you get an erection while you sleep

    I have never worn a cage and I often wake up a few times in the night: always limp

    When diagnosis of ed is done, a paper band is fixed around the flacid penis before going to sleep.
    If there are nocturnal erections the band is damaged.

    Do you get daytime erections? If so, no problem.

    Depending on age, this could be an early sign of erectile dysfunction. Do you, by any chance, suffer from sleep apnea? Sleep apnea reduces REM sleep, which is supposedly where night-time erections occur.
