I'm struggling with wearing my cage during the daytime and looking for advice. I'm able to wear my cage throughout the night and sleep pretty well with no issues at all, but pretty much as soon as I get up the pain becomes unbearable, everything tightens up. I've tried adding moisturiser or vaseline to under the base ring but that just makes my ball pop out (ouch) It's a cheap fake cobra small with the 50mm base ring. My penis shrivels to quite small and my balls go high and tight throughout the day, especially in the cold weather. Any advice gratefully received
I found that the best way to overcome issues with pain was to get a metal cage that was more open. That way there is room for the penis to grow without it pushing the cage away from the body and then pulling on the scrotum. When I had a plastic cage I used to be OK during the day but at night I was always awoken at least twice by a horrible burning sensation. Now I don't have any issues and can wear with comfort all the time. Hope this helps
I think if you trawl this whole site, the 2 things you’re going to get as recurring messages are… 1) get the best (smallest that doesn’t cause problems) base ring size. 2) use a good, long lasting lubricant to stop chafing. ( I found baby oil GEL to be excellent) ….. the metal vs plastic choice is a personal one, but I found 24/7 to be possible only with metal. Ternence on Amazon have a good selection. Experimenting with base ring sizes with a plastic cage which comes with a range of sizes to find your perfect one. You can then select a metal ring size to buy. My pics show our cages… if you use a hinged base ring (I prefer for risk reasons) then you need to buy latex tubes to cover the hinge. Change the tube every 4-6 months.
I was opposite with my first knockoff plastic resin cage. Hurt at night and woke up in morning with almost off pushed off my body. Was fine during the day. Switched to a metal cage with a smaller round not oval ring and haven't had problems since. Think it was also a ring size problem in my case. Started with a 50 mm and went down to a 45 mm that's about perfect. Think the cage being so super light and ring being too large was my problem. Maybe an amazon elastic strap at night keep it tight to your body help too.
If your balls pop out in cold weather, you need a smaller gap between the base ring and cage. This is not about how small the ring should be. This is about reducing the gap to as little as possible so that the balls could stop trying to squeeze out.
There are times when it will be slight bit uncomfortable, after all its metal or hard plastic, but it should never hurt, in my case my scrotum goes from tight to hanging low depending on the weather and can get a bit tight at times , but either way my balls never pop out, like said above sounds like a spacing issue. I've also found that a tube to allow zero growth much more comfortable for long term wearing
I think anyone with high/tight balls will struggle with these cobra type cages as you cannot reduce the ball gape, I needed a small ball gape myself (5mm) to be comfy. There are things you could try to help, like using a body strap with the cage. I found good tight briefs/thong/jocks to be far superior to boxers or trunks to hold everything in place and reduce discomfort. And if the cold is bothering you maybe thermal shorts/long johns over the briefs to.
I agree with the posts suggesting gap…… when I went 24/7… the range of ball sizes became apparent …. They can actually double in size between max and min…. So you need to be comfortable just slightly above min….. means putting cage on needs to be done when you are pretty ‘relaxed’ … and done quickly !!!
I started my 24/7 with my kink3d cobra (which I’m selling now). After spending a hell lot of money on different combinations, I finally went for the 1XD ring with the Wide cage. This basically makes the ring and cage to have very similar width, which helps reduce the gap and it was the only combination that my balls didn’t manage to escape from. However, even that is far from ideal. It basically means my cage is extra wide and my ring is quite tight. I know almost all knockoff cobras will have even fewer selections for the cages and rings, so it would be near to impossible to find a combination that works for you. I should have gone for fully customised cage like many recommended in the beginning. It might be expensive to get a customised cage but when you had to buy so many different plastic one to find a suitable combination, it would cost even more.
I never use lube or anything on the chastity cage. The burning sensation come and go but I find that it disappears when I adjust my ball sack. I used to have the ball popping out issue and it’s the gap/ring size. It took a long time for me to get this part right, not perfect but comfortable enough to forget I am wearing a chastity cage. The cage portion itself is almost the exact size when I am soft, length and girth. When cold my penis shrink half a cm and when warm its snug fit, so for me this is as good as it gets.
