Ladies, What do you say to guys who pop up on Chat?

    Every single time I come in here I am approached by men who say "Hello, how are you today?"

    That sounds nice, but it gets in the way of what I am doing- reading or writing.

    I am never sure what to say to these guys.

    The last one I am pretty sure wanted me to do something on CAM with him - he hinted at it.

    How do you handle it when it happens to you? I am sincerely interested in some help here.

    @Pinkie Surely you're not that busy. If you are doing other things then just wait until you have completed a section and then reply with a simple "Fine ty ". No doubt they will ask another question but you can always carry on with what you're doing and let them wait for a reply. Most of them are used to waiting. :)
    If you're too busy then do what @chastecocklet suggests and turn off mini chat. QED.

    I try to be polite when they pop up on the screen and answer them - one day I just left because it kept happening. Sometimes I have just a few minutes to stop by. I could not figure out how to turn off chat - so I set it as busy and will leave it at that.

    I seldfom use chat, partly for that reason.

    You can turn off chat in the Chat Options.

    Just click on the "gear" in the chat pop up window, then "Offline".

    Note that if you later bring up the chat pop up window, it will set you as online again.
