Considering getting a jailbird after using a cb6000s for about a week and not getting a good comfortable fit. I know you can use a lock or security key if you have the security key added on. However, how often does lock dig into leg while in daily use. I know the lock only goes sideways which is weird. Are there any options for using a different lock lengthwise? Also how long does the security key take to open open up? Wife doesn't want to be unscrewing for several minutes or have a chance of stripping.
Security screw was a pain in the ass for her. Plus it would untighten quite often. Master lock fit nice and snug.
its Mistress/Owner prefers the look of the lock plus it gives Her something to attach Her slave tag too. Picture in its profile.
No the lock does not dig in as it is held firmly in place, out of the way of your legs and other parts. It is a tight fit so you either have to use the one they sell or a comparable Master Lock, or something slightly smaller (but not much or else the cage will move around). As per my prior answers from MM the security screw is intended for long-term chastity, unless you are leaving the device on for weeks at a time you should get the lock fit instead.
I use both. My wife has me lock it on with the padlock which is in a separate hole at the end which mm will do. (see pics in profile). After it is locked on she will align the hole in the main cage and then put the security screw in. So far it has not come loose. Only had the jailbird for just a month. Very good quality.
The security screw is not very secure. Rock the cage a few times and you can unscrew it with your hand. It should be called the unsecurity screw. However you can make it work but it is a pain to deal with. For me it is not a problem because I keep my cage on for as long as two weeks at a time depending on whether my wife wants it removed for sex or not once a week. You can use Blue (Never red) Loktite or as I do, Teflon tape that they use to make joints in water and gas pipes leak proof. I cannot remove my screw when sealed like that without the key. I find the lock too heavy for me,
MM charged $40.00 extra for the second hole. To me it was well worth the cost. Also if the security screw comes loose you are still locked up. So far the security screw has never worked loose.
