Inconsistent?

If locking up your cock makes you "not a real guy" I don't want to be one. Not all chaste men are the same, some are more feminine, some more masculine. Perhaps the definitions need to stay separate. Emasculation is a real valid feeling. There are those that have fetishised it and enjoy the play, and others (like me) that don't. I don't think chastity is necessarily Emasculating, but (in my case) one has to be careful it doesn't have a negative effect on our relationship when orgasm denial is being practiced. Communication is key. I see locking up as honourable and gentlemanly. Putting my wife first is gentlemanly. Should the epitome of masculinity be seen as a caveman, or in this day and age taken for ourselves. The evolved ones. Who really see where men have been going wrong for years. Know our weaknesses, and unlike 99% of the rest of them, have done something to address our failings as lovers, fathers and husbands.

 

According to my wife, a man sacrificing something he wants or enjoys for the benefit of his woman or his relationship is about the most masculine thing he can do. So in my relationship being caged and denied makes me more of a man in her eyes and that’s all that matters to me.

 

And why does it matter what everybody thinks?

 

For some people it matters. That's human nature. It's also human nature to categorize and define things. In most cases, those definitions are predominantly true, otherwise they wouldn't exist. There are always exceptions, but that does not diminish the standard. Much like stereotypes. Reject them all you want, they still prove true in substantial numbers.

 

How ironic that people engaging in an extreme fringe activity, one that is radically individualistic, are worried about what other people think.

 

I don't care what other people think about my relationship. It works for us, and that's all that matters.
