    Just a thought, couldn't they draw the blood off by syringe or something to relieve the pressure then withdraw the tube ?

    I Thought, "Wouldn't hitting the pipe with a blast of CO2 out of a fire extinguisher work? That would freeze things up. And we all know what happens when things get cold.
