I'm not ashamed to admit, I'm hight maintenance and more than a little spoilt. But for me, this is the very essence of a FLR. The power exchange has completed, the outpouring of no strings devotion has been proffered, the promise of 'your pleasures are what matters most' and his pleasure is only by your decree. His manhood is contained, his level of sacrifice is at your whim. He works so hard for my pleasures, I ensure he suffers for his devotion. But hey, just remember, we girls do have to put in a lot of effort to sustain your fantasy lifestyle..... we're worth it!
Out in the campo high maintenance doesn’t really happen, yes we have our little luxuries, like we want g&t’s go and pick a lemon for us! Our FLR is based on hedonism, we enjoy the moments. Power exchange sort of happened by itself. But too right, we’re worth it, to the extent our shampoo is Occitane en Provence!
In the old days when we were both high fliers in our fields it was all 5stars and business class to high powered meetings all over the world. Now, a small finca in the arse end of nowhere and an odd Ryanair, but with freedom to be us, beats it hands down!
The effort we put in is well rewarded when we know of the positive reactions of our subs. The maintenance is sometimes wearing, but there's always a goal to be reached, when we get there it's a bliss.
I guess my wife would be described as quite high maintenance. I try to pamper to her enough to fulfil her wishes but not too much that I annoy her and don't leave her alone. Quite hard when all I want is to be touched!

Domina and 'high maintenance' are probably synonymous, at least from a submissive's point of view. I know I enjoy the attention to detail, sweating the small stuff as it were. Sometimes going the extra yard for her without being asked is what pleases her most. I love that she is high maintenance.
My wife is so loving and nice, and so easy to get along with...and not high maintenance at all. She does like to get her own way, and that's the way I like it.
