    Hello and help!

I hope someone can point me to a solution.

First, I understand that night-time erections may subside over time, but I get impressively huge, manly erections at night when my bladder gets even a little full. Uncaged, I get up once or twice, pee, and the erection subsides.

But caged, I get about 5 painful erections that wake me up (balls being pulled away from my pubic bone), and it takes quite a bit of work to slowly force pee through the ring because my caged erection smashes my urethra shut. I have to do Kegels to ram the pee past the ring, over and over, about 15 or 20 Kegels in all.

I've thought about a cage with a built-in urethral 'spout' to hold the urethra open (https://oxy-shop.com/collections/st...ts/ch13f-cock-cage-flat-ring-2-36-60mm-length), but I've got a Lori on the way, and I want that to be THE cage for me. But maybe I don't need one integrated into a cage. Just a hollow urethra sound captured inside any cage (https://lustplugs.com/collections/hollow-urethral-sounds) could do the trick, but I don't know if I could safely wear one overnight.

    Advice anyone?

I got a PA piercing and wore a simple lightweight penile sheath cage because of the problems you mentioned. Even with a penile sheath cage, an erection gets trapped making peeping a chore as it takes a lot more time for the erection to minimize, but I never wake up in pain and the device is barely noticeable during the day.

If the pressure is squashing your urethra then the base ring is too tight, get a bigger one. Don’t muck around with this, it’s not healthy to do that, permanent damage to the urethra would not be good.

Maybe the cage is too short?

    Are things normal without cage?

Thank you @Lakeman ! Yes, I think that's the right idea. Alas, this ring is 2.05 inches of 55 mm. It's the biggest one I've seen anywhere. Not bragging, just saying :)

In addition to being "girthy", I have a lot of scrotum, and that takes up a bunch of room getting itself through the ring, too.

    Thanks again, I appreciate it.

Thank you, @LockedPom for the reply! Alas, it's the largest ring and the next-to-largest tube HT makes. But I will follow your advice and do an experiment with the largest tube, which I also have.

Thank you again for taking an interest in this worm that is me.

Thank you, @Mauiperson, for the helpful reply! I would love to get a P.A. Yes, that would solve the pain that wakes me up, and I would therefore not have to get up five times a night. I would LOVE to convince my lovely wife to let me get one. I fear the answer will continue to be "Ewww! No!"

    Thank you again

Thank you @StubHub, I appreciate the reply. My urologist says things look okay for someone my age. I get up once or twice to pee when not caged. No pain, no difficulty.

I have a very similar issue, the max standard size of 2 inches (around 50mm) is too small for me. I went custom at 54mm, perfect, can wear it indefinitely. You might want to try the same, the cheapest route is the Cherry Keeper, you’ll find base rings there of all sizes, some way over 2 inches, then mix and match for the cage portion you want, and hey presto.

    Great news!
    Some bits of learning.
    1. I have solved my peeing problem. My new CH07 metal chastity cage from Oxy-Shop has done the trick! It has a urethral "spout" (or "tunnel"). The tunnel keeps my urethra open despite my attempts at getting hard. The difference is amazing. I get to the toilet with this "thing" sticking painfully out. I sit. I pee. Done.
    2. I have learned that is not the big ring that is crushing my urethra, despite by earlier assertion. The tunnel isn't long enough to skewer my urethra all the way through the big ring. So it must be that the blockage was occurring where my little wee-wee's attempted boner meets the first ring of the tube cage.
    3. The CH07 is comfortable to wear and I have had no problem sleeping with the tunnel inserted. In fact, it's inserted right now just because it's so hot to be fucked/skewered/impaled while locked.
    4. Note: I did have to do a little bit of "cold working" of the device when it arrived. The design makes it hard to not have a little bit of twist between the cage and the ring, making the cage rotated from what you know would be straight. Message me and I will tell you how to cold-work it so that is fixed. Second, I found I wanted a little more room between the first cage ring and the big ring. Again, some judicial tapping with a mallet worked the steel a little bit at a time until it was just right.

Not that I can speak from experience, but others have recommended caution with prolonged wear of urethral inserts and the risk of infection.

I am avoiding catheter urethra tubes from that and other reasons.

    Hygiene super critical.

Thanks, infection is indeed a big deal. My paraplegic acquaintance has trouble frequently. But I only wear this for 8 hours and then remove it for 16. and it's only about 2.5 inches long, so it is trivial to insert it without damaging my urethra. Thanks again for the warning - I will definitely keep it in mind!
