First time wearer, concerned about warmth

Hey! Getting to the point quickly -

Was able to get into cage, but ring is a bit far from my base as the sheath was smaller than expected. There's no pinching, but my balls feel really warm ~half an hour in and are really tight in the ring, as well as being super red.

Is this a problem? I don't want to immediately cause permanent damage if I got something too small.
