Well I did it. I locked myself in my Jail Bird for the first time. Then I threw the keys into a pile in the corner of the room that I’ll have to clean up to get at them. Excited and nervous for what this experience will be like.
Take it easy at first, a few hours at a time. Work up to overnight. Once you are fine with overnight, it is fun to leave the keys someplace like your desk at work, or anywhere you have to drive to get them. That will discourage any notion of escaping. Welcome.
Enjoy the journey (0: start slow, it will take time to be able to wear long term and you will have plenty of temptation to remove the cage and please yourself.
Good luck with your lockup. Hiding the keys somewhere so you have to do a chore to find them is good approach. Using your cage to help you become used to doing all the housework, is good training for when you find a key holder. But give yourself time to adjust to cage, too.
Yes @MistressS I do admit my own resolve was tested and I failed on occasion to resist temptation (0: I’m still learning under your supervision
Overnight went well, and I retrieved the keys this morning, but some soreness. Will take some getting used to! Thanks for all the great advice.
