I am very new to self chastity. I have an emlalock account. I am currently in a session. I can't seem to get an answer to what is the pillory vote. I have had several users add time to my session using a pillory vote. Does anyone here know what it is? Is like the voting section? How is it different? I am just trying to understand it.

    according to Emlalock in Fetlife

    in his sentence:
The Pillory is similar to the "stockade" from chastitylocked. I do not like to copy things from other websites, but many users have requested a similar functionality on EmlaLock. If you like to punish your wearer or so, you can let him be on the pillory for a specific time and ALL users from EmlaLock can add time to that session.

Given that almost every single woman on there is a Key Holder and that ther majority of men are currently locked I would think that being pilloried could result in quite a lot of accumulated denial time. I was not even aware such a thing existed on Emlalock. So no idea how to find it..

I believe @Evan62 is using the beta test site for a real lock up.

Currently its only supposed to be used for testing and fake sessions to try out (see screenshot below). Hope they don't reset it ...

So did I. And I found nothing either. But on looking further I found it on the beta site just as Gryffin has.
As he says it's only for testing just now. But has a lot of promise when it goes mainstream.

Well worth it. If ever I be an emlaock KH again I shall certainly use it, pillory included. When I checked it there were nine wearers on it and I added to them all on principle! It also indicates how much time they've served and how much they've left to do.

Thank you Joro. I will be looking into the Beta.. well I'm told I will be... so it will happen.

My KH is definitely starting to like having control.

Best is if she sets up a session, no max, other options as she likes, generates the key ID, you adopt blind. Ideally in which she sets you up herself on person or gets someone else to do it for her, to upload and delete the combination and ensure you don't back out in the initial period. So there's no way you can have kept the combination and you do as you're told or else. That pillory looks can be really wicked.

But the beta's not yet ready for regular use.

    All good advice Joro thanks
We have an existing session which we did switch to no maximum.
We are happy with the way we set up the security arrangements
I simply can't get a release from emlalock.
I am assured that there will be no set maximum now or in the future.
My KH says she wants to know more about the pillory so we shall be trying the Beta but I think there is something wrong with the site today.

Your KH is quite right. On the beta why not set up a dummy session with her.while you remain in your existing one just to try it out. The pillory will do a lot more when the system is up and running as there will then be far more members all of which will be able to hit you. You can end up with months added in no time. Bit is good for now for a dummy run. Other than pillory it's not much different from the alpha one.

Emlalock has been updated and has this feature added to it now. I was searching for an answer to know what pilory was. Thanks to finding this thread now I know :)

Emlalock has a new lay out and I daresay new features. I must admit I am having trouble finding my way around it. Where is the link to the pillory please ? I've been tasked to find it. hopefully not going in it.

The beta v2 version is beta no more. It is now the main regular one and fit for actual use. The pillory is on it and if you go into the site you can vote on all and sundry whether you yourself are in a session or not.

I found it thanks gave everyone a vote of confidence in celebration ...totally random I think.. anything from 30 seconds to a week.. not sure who sets those perameters. Maybe its the KH... it ought to be if you think about it.

In which case then it might be wise to avoid conduct that might result in being pilloried. I notice whilst most that were being pilloried were in there due to wheel of fortune. Clearly it must be an new option on WoF. I did notice a for couple of guys who were on there that the reason for which their KHs said they were on was.. because I can. My partner says she really likes that reason.

So maybe even being on my best behaviour might not be enough to keep me out of there.
Not that it could make a lot f difference in my case. :(:)

Yes it is an possible option on the WoF, but only if the KH makes it so.

Sorry .... WoF ..... is not a previosly experienced acronym

If she wants to do something then I assure you my KH WILL find a way to make it so :)

The pillory option puts me off using Emlalock now. Not because I don't think I deserve to be sent to the stocks, but because it is too easy to accrue hours/days of time - particularly if you swap keyholders during your time there.

I realise you can only choose keyholders where pillory is set to off. But I'm guessing most keyholders won't.

I can see some new users ending up being locked far longer than they originally intended. Which both makes me sad and a little happy... Hope they spotted the requirement vote system too ... ... ...

    Thank you Joro :)
