Just wondering if anyone’s got a custom lock on their cage? That says something along the lines of “property of......” and the Keyholders name.

I might get one for my cage to surprise the girlfriend, I think we’d both get a bit of a thrill that the cage becomes a bit more personal

I have. I got it on Etsy. It isn't a very secure lock mind you but it works for us.

i will soon be put in a MM Jail Bird. It will be secured with the screw option but Mistress likes the tinkle of a padlock when i walk. To that end the post on the base ring will be extended to accommodate an extra hole. i placed an order for a custom engraved Stainless Steel lock on Etsy last night.

The font will be a little different but this is what i sent in with the request.

Any consideration for the permanent lock they sell?

Not sure what is really meant by 'permanent'. If it means it cannot be opened once locked I would hate to have to destroy something that expensive in an emergency.

The silver permanent lock is in many ways a neat idea if you can be cleaned in your cage and some permanence is required / desired / necessitated. It will need destruction to remove but if emergency removal is required, being sterling silver it should be easy to break or cut unlike normal padlocks.
