I am permanently caged and am currently in a metal cage. For the first time in a couple of years because of the pandemic, I took the family to a live concert this past weekend. Although I worried that there might be metal detectors at the venue, I pushed the thought away because I really did not want to take the cage off. It turns out that staff were wanding everyone. The wand was quite sensitive because it was picking up metal buttons on my jacket. Fortunately, the staff member did not get too close to my crotch. I did not know what I would have done if my crotch had started screaming.

I am starting to travel again for business and am dreading having to take off my cage before going through security at the airport.

Yes, you could at least switch for going through detectors and put metal back on after, if you want to be in metal most of time.

I asked the other day about titanium and was told it doesn't trigger most airport security.

We don't worry about scanners or wand at concerts or sporting events anymore. Airports we're still at the stage of thinking I should stay locked.

Being unlocked and relocking isn't an updated when I'm travelling alone

I like the resin HT Nub and have worn it for extended times. I think that it would not be picked up by wands. But would plastic not be visible on the airport backscatter X-ray imagers?

It would. They look at the density of the objects between the plates

FYI: Metal detectors at airports are looking for more than metal. They see any object including plastic chastity cages. I wear a metal cage 24/7 under normal circumstances at home. A few times, I've switched to an old cb6000 for airports and got through fine. However, since the last time I did it, I've heard several stories first hand where people were flagged wearing only plastic. One account was on a podcast and the guy had to go into a room and show his pink plastic cage to someone. I enjoyed the rush of getting through security, but that's when I thought I had a 0% chance of being detected. So yeah, no thanks for me in the future on this one.

Our mindset, particularly mine has changed considerably on this. And is now why should we have to stop with our lifestyle, beliefs and practices. It's annoying.

There are occasions for work I need to otherwise I would lose my job. But for a security scanner? What risk do I present, can I club someone over the head with my caged penis?

As long as the cage is <2.36” (4cm) in length, you’ll be fine. ;)

    Unfortunately, it does.
I was also told the same and spend quite some money on a custom made titanium cage... Went through airport security and... Bip, bip, bip... Had to show the cage to the security crew...

Millimeter wave sees titanium with no issues.

It "sees" everything, except (basically) fabric.

You went through a backscatter imaging device, correct?

That’s why I got my Evotion cage.

Then I discovered my low-mass 316L-stainless MaleChastityNow cage does not trip metal detectors. Nothing at all at least 8 separate locations… and dozens of times.

My wife once “teased” she would never leave me unlocked alone ever again. I asked what if I needed an MRI? She pointed to the Evotion cage with a plastic “one time” seal as a temporary home.

    I prefer jewelry grade steel.

Just be aware that not all scanners/detectors are the same. Government buildings, Datacenters and many large businesses can, and do, utilize different technologies. I A few years back I saw a woman flagged at a Financial firm in Manhattan because of a hairclip. I've always recommended a plastic or silicon cage with a plastic numbered tie when travelling.

My wife's jewellery usually sets them off at the airport - and she's got a lot of it. Once at Manchester she triggered it and had to remove it all and get the wand scanned over here before having to walk through the scanner again.... only to get a "random" and have to get the full wand treatment again. The security staff were most apologetic - I know you're fine 'cause I've just scanned you, but now I have to do it again.

    The joys of travelling.

I am aware. I have had many pat downs, well before chastity. I have had a pat down in chastity. I’ve been through a government building, museums, cruise ship detector, international security in two countries.

I can believe that private security operations could have their equipment set to trigger easily, as they have a lower rate of people to process.

I went through a back scatter machine last year. They didn’t pick me out.

Maybe my air traveler’s background check has my chastity in the database, and the object recognition software come up “yep! He’s still caged” and moves me along ;)

There are three camps here: those who don’t want to attempt security screening in chastity, those who want to get caught, and those who do not care.

I understand why this conversation keeps happening. The camps seem to be separated by disgust/fear… excitement/titillation… and whatever I’m feeling. Shrug.

I am not startled or frightened by a secondary screening. I have had many. I respect them. They respect me. I cooperate calmly. My caged penis is not the gun they are looking for.

For reasons, we both had opted for pat downs instead of submitting to back scatter imaging two decades ago. So perhaps I just have a different frame of mind.

what a rush that would be! I’m currently in full time chastity (with supervised release) for almost the last three weeks. I wear my cage everywhere. It’s kinda always in the back of my head “what if someone sees it” but then, what does it matter? But I don’t know how I would react, I’d either own it, or pass out! Lol…I think I would own it and rise to the next level of confidence:D

I have noticed something about me getting older. As I approach my sixth decade on this planet I have found that I care less and less about what someone else thinks about they see when I am naked including if I have a cage on and what kind it is. If I am going through an airport screening and they pick up that I am wearing a cage, so be it. Yes, its mine! If they want to drag me to an area and take a closer look at it to make sure it wont go off and shoot someone, lets go! It just doesnt matter what they think anymore. There are bigger problems than my cage. Just my one cent (inflation).

That’s cracking me up! “ Yes, its mine! If they want to drag me to an area and take a closer look at it to make sure it wont go off and shoot someone, lets go!” I am approaching 5 decades on this planet and I’m getting there, lol

I went to the local courthouse for jury duty, forgeting about my cage. I set the scanner and wand off. The guard asked what was in my pants, quick thinking I responded that I had a steel testicle from an injury. I offered that he could check it out if he wanted! He passed me right through. I just smiled to myself for having a quick wit
