    Next week I am going to update Arrowchat. (the blue chat box)

    Unfortunately this will remove read messages more than 2 weeks old and unread messages more than 4 weeks old. (And possibly all of them if I do it wrong!)

    So if you want to save any old chats, do so now.

    This will not affect messages in the chat rooms or conversations.

    You have to use the "MESSENGER" link in the sites main menu instead.

    With a bit of luck this issue might be sorted out with the update.

    Go into the "Hamburger" menu at the upper left top of the page, the messenger is in there.

    There should be a "chat" etiquette. Occasionally I'll get chat messages from folks where the message is "Hi There" or something similarly inane. Introductions should be required to open a chat. Otherwise, it seems like spam and I ignore.

    i'm using an older version of chrome Version 116.0.5845.187 because i have an older mac laptop that wont update to a more modern version
