The ring is certainly far to big. It's worth looking for threads that will give you some idea of measuring yourself. Generally the cage needs to be about 15-20mm shorter than your flaccid length. The ring should allow you to just get the end of your finger under it when soft. That's the basics, but there is a lot of trial and error we are all different. I started at a 45mm ring and moved down to 40mm. I've actually ended up with a 38mm ring.

 

I agree with both, the ring is to big and the cage is to short for you, take a look at cherry keeper for a longer custom cage, judging from your pics most of the generic cages will be to short!

 

Mature metal has sizing rings (probably other places too). It is the place to start.

 

I believe you are pretty new to this. If I were you I would get a modular set that has the following..

40mm, 45mm, 50mm or 1.5inch, 1.75inch, 2inch Ring Diameter.

Look for a cage diameter of around 1 3/8'' inches... and try to get your way into a 2.5inch cage length at the most.

A lot of devices are modular, so you can get a bigger and smaller cage to go with a lot of rings. Lemme know if you need help "Shopping".

 

I cant even believe I am feeling the need to comment on this, because mostly, you need to manscape a bit for starters. Not to offend or anything, but wow. Longer hair like that is definitely not conducive to device play or to showing pics. (Just my deal, sorry)

Second, it's a turn on to have someone you are attracted to enough to engage being put into chastity with. The others in the thread are suggesting yet another device, mostly because, like me, I have bought a few and had experiences like yours, where (in my case) it didnt fit properly. I've said it in other threads, the problem with devices is that there is millions of them, no one size fits all, and they cant be tried on prior to spending money on them. If I had to guess I would say that you need a 1.75 ring and a 3.5 tube. I say that because I am a bit larger and find smaller devices to pinch and go against the comfort of every day wear. Some like to shrink, to disengage getting erect all of the way, but that's not my deal. I like inescapability with a moveable fit personally.

I use Amazon and Etsy a lot, and there are a ton of devices there for not a ton of money, and some would have parts compatible with this one. I dont think all is lost with it, but that you have to put it on completely soft, and pull it up towards your midsection as far as you can get it before putting the end on.

Good advice from others above.

I am in an open-wire metal cage and am locked 24/7. I have found that the tighter the base ring and the shorter the cage the more comfortable it is to wear long-term. My base ring is snug and difficult to put on, but once in place it is comfortable. The tip of my little finger just fits under it.

For those new to chastity it is best not to spend a lot on a device initially. The cheap chinese cages are good for trial-and-error until you find the size that fits you best.

 

It sounds like Y/you two are into the aesthetics. To get what you're looking for, you have to just stuff everything in deep into the cage using your index finger when you're not aroused. I recommend aloe vera to lube it in (and it dries so it holds in place) and for the sub not to be around the Domme so he's flaccid-adjacent. But you have to just absolutely stuff it in there, top and bottom. It takes a few times to figure it out, but you'll get it.

The length of your flaccid or erect penis is irrelevant to the length of cage that best suits you, they’re very squishy things, there are very well hung people who wear very short cages. Cage length comes down to personal preference, lots of people gradually move to shorter cages over time (no, not because your penis shrinks, that’s a myth) as they find it comfortable.

Most important thing is the size of the base ring, tight enough to allow you just slip one finger under the ring is usually about right.

 

As a newbie I focused on ring size. IMO it's ball gap that's the key thing.

With the bon4 I tried several rings. To big to small or I thought.

Starting to adjust the ball gap solved everything and I can wear two of the rings. 46 and 48mm with 46 maybe to small or I need to get used to it.

48 feels a bit loose but with a small ball gap I can't pull through and don't think it would be easy to even get my shaft free.

Yes base ring matters. But I tried several cheap amazon cages. Three ring sizes to choose. The 45 is tight yes. But I couldn't go tighter but still slipped through one ball. And yes it hurts.

Finally paid for quality and beyond the quality I got sizes and a learning tool.

If we keep doing this maybe we'll want something different some day. But I'll know it's about the ring size and ball gap together.

Cage size. Just no extra room or as small as you want is my thoughts. Extra room and you get half hard and it pulls against everything.
