    Hey!

I love putting my device on, but man it hurts sometimes because the head rubs and sticks going into the tube. I am pretty thick for a lot of tube, so really have to shove it in there sometimes. Really just looking for something over-the-counter that I can put on prior to putting my device on.

I used baby oil a few times and it worked great to get it on. However, after a few days of putting the oil on down there, definitely caused irritation, so looking for alternatives.

    Thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t use anything. Sometimes some baby powder is I am sweating a lot… or Neosporin if I have skin issues… but you shouldn’t need lube to get your device on.

Thanks for the response. Does baby powder help make it easier to slide on over the head?

If you are really struggling to get into the device, there is something call call the panty hose method.

put panty hose around your penis and insert into the device. Once in pull the panty hose out the tip of the device. I don’t think anyone need to do that but you might wanna try it.

Instead of a pantyhose you could use a condom too, just partialy unroll it before you put it on, then when putting the cage on you can pull the condom off through.

I prefer a little baby oil gel on the head to make it slide easier

So I have tried all the suggestions now and I can safely say that the baby oil gel worked the best for me. Slid right on and so far no irritation. Thanks @New to cage.

I use silicone lube applied after each shower and at bedtime. My fav brand is pjur, but there are many many others.

There is also the string method(or shoe lace) of getting a device on, loop a shoe lace over the head of your penis and pass the ends through the end hole or gap in your device and pull the penis down as you push the device on. Then simply pull one end of the shoe lace till it’s it if your device.
As for lube, it can be down to your skin type, try a decent moisturiser instead of oil, it might suit you better.
