Best device for sleeping in?

    Hi all,
    I just found this site and there's a lot of great information, but I've been having a problem with my CB6000 that I haven't been able to find answers for. Whenever I try to sleep in it, I wake up in the night with my penis bent upwards at a sharp angle and turning purple, which is fairly worrisome so I stopped trying after 5-6 attempts. After many years of use (during the daytime), the plastic is starting to crack near the lock, so I'm looking for a new device, and this time one I can sleep in without that problem.

    I've heard mixed things about the new holy trainer, but everyone seems to say it's more ergonomic, which might mean easier to sleep in? Does anybody have any advice or suggestions?

    I'm finding the Holytrainer 2 almost invisible. The caveat is that the original versions released earlier this year seemed to break a lot. However HT replaced mine a couple of times and the one I now have seems sound.

    Let me make some general comments
    1. No device is best / comfortable for sleeping in till you get used to it
    2. Nocturnal erections are unavoidable and one has to get used enjoy them
    3. Plastic cages often tend to split or crack because they cannot withstand the pressure of erection
    4. No metal cage has splitting or cracking issues
    5. I find my cage most comfortable. However everyone has his choice!

    Hey there!

    Best device I ever slept in was the Birdlocked. The silicone was like a glove.... felt beautiful! Like a soft hand on my you-know-what!

    But, for me, the totally enclosed devices like the BL and polycarbonate tubes just weren't practical for long term wear...

    I do think that a properly fitted metal cage is almost as good!! As long as the cage is not too long, the erection is contained and the pain is minimised.

    Short is definitely better as far as chastity is concerned!!! :D

    @Sunny is spot on.... It is a matter of personal experimentation as to what works best for each individual!!!!

    I vote for a full belt.
    But the tube style is also very comfortable.

    Thanks for all the advice, everyone. Some followup questions
    I always thought people meant something different by the term "Nocturnal erections". They seem to say it hurts from pressure on the balls/scrotum, not from the penis being bent upwards at a sharp angle. I just figured mine didn't fit correctly. Am I misunderstanding?

    I also assumed metal cages would be super expensive, but apparently they mass produce cheap versions in china? So maybe I'll try one of those next.
    Do you think a Birdlocked would work with large testicles? All the pictures I'm seeing, that ring looks like an awfully tight fit to slip through :p

    Hey @vidyava!

    Yeah.... the BL is REALLY comfy... but... there is a bit of an art to putting it on!!!!

    And that ring does make things protrude a wee bit!

    That's one of the reasons I gave it away.... The whole thing has to come off as one unit whenever it is removed....

    That... and the funk that builds uo!!! :confused:
