    At first, I was under the impression that your journey in the chaster appy thing was undertaken in some form of irony…

    Now, I’m confused. In my confusion I added time. I was disappointed that my only option was one hour, I feel my input should be deemed far more valuable.

    Good observation IB.

    My real motivation is to do a few short “live” sessions to gauge how the parameters (there are many, a practically infinite number of ways to configure a session) ought to be set.

    Are you familiar with the app?

    I wish to be able to provide good feedback to my chastity coach, so that my limits are pushed, but to not fall into the ridiculous 1435 day lock up.

    Example: This lock session was only set for two hours. It has ballooned into about 25 hours so far. Such is the power of being exposed to the chastity world. If i had used “days” instead of “hours” as my increment I’d have gone from two days to a month. And each day “exposed” tends to increase things.

    It’s a very fun counter. Strategy matters.

    Not at all. I’ve seen requests on here and found it almost ludicrous (sorry to all who embark on solo chastity), as I find the real motivation behind this lifestyle is to better a relationship. I didn’t always feel this way, it was a kink initially, but I just don’t understand self locking as I don’t have the will power.

    With that statement I will say that I understand why those who do self-lock would appreciate an app like this. What I can’t understand is this: ‘who would know??’

    At what point to the numbers just become pointless? What would prevent someone from disregarding them? With these questions in mind i accept that your experiment does have merit.

    Like the chastity cage itself, the Chaster app is a tool. Just as some keyholders use dice to determine lock up times, the app offers a dizzying array of possibilities. With a keyholder, it’s a blast. Without one, it’s probably like playing dice with yourself.

    I initially thought it would suck. But I love the interactive strategy part.

    Is that because you get a sense you could ‘beat’ it?
    I read a post on here once, a member was angered as everyday someone signed on at the same time and added an extra 8 hours. The chaster could never escape. I remember thinking to myself how that sad soul who took time out of their day, each and every day (I mean, there’s probably an app for that) was actually winning!

    Yes. Depending on configuration you as the chastlete can make bad or good decisions as far as getting released goes.

    Hence my experiments. An informed dialogue with the keyholder can make the period way more fun.

    Some “locks” are just dumb. Some, are genius.

    i think a hour is a bit silly as well. and i like in when it is a day or on some i can give a lot of days. it is easy to click the little button but for the man it is a long time all lock up. giggle. :). i dont know why i like do it but i do.

    I went to check it out and it says you are unlocked. I guess the experiment may have failed to reach the result you were hoping for.

    Thanks for checking.

    The lock session worked beautifully. Its duration was 24 hours. I learned a lot about the app.

    One thing I’ve seen is that lock sessions more than double if exposed to the chaste community.

    This lock began as 2 hours. Expanded to 24.

    My five day lock became twelve.
