Something really funny happened while I was assisting a female customer at work yesterday. Even though she was attractive, she wasn't my type, so there was no trigger or excitement… BUT..... She started hitting on me while I was helping her determine her size for a dress and some casual apparel. My boss, who's also female and a little younger than me (just a few years), was on scene and she looked at the customer as if to say "OMFG! Are you kidding me?! Like Really?!" And my co-worker behind the sales counter couldn't keep a straight face. Not that I blame her, I had a hard time holding back the giggles myself. LOL! After the customer made her decisions on her items, she went to the sales counter and kept staring at me and not paying attention to the signature pad on the counter. She kept pressing the wrong buttons and I had to help her get through it. Then she almost left without her merchandise and I had to catch up to her and hand her bag to her. She thanked me with a huge smile and I told her to have a nice day and she said "Oh, I sure will!" After I returned to my post, my boss who was looking a little jealous, said "You know, she did that on purpose!" and I just replied "I know... It don't mean nothin." Then she raised an eyebrow at me and my co-worker just busted out laughing her ass off. It won't take long for word to spread throughout the store, as the others are very talkative.
I work in a large department store and I just happened to be scheduled there that day. Truth is, I work in all areas, not just women's’ areas.
