    Create beautiful but transient modern works of art with crop tawse cane hand or I guess concidering your location the paddle. However I prefer items from earlier in my list as they leave interesting marks .

    Why stop at one spanking ? Why not a rota of spanking sessions and the level of bratty none sense could dictate the item with which your pet is corrected with and how many strokes maybe. My idea being the "hiatus" could be a reason for such things rearing their ugly heads ? Best of luck !!

    There's very little info about what actually happened and what kind of person your sub is, so it's not easy to give you good advice. If you put your sub back in chastity, he should naturally become more obedient, shouldn't he? Maybe I'm weird, but in my experience, threats of pain never impressed me. At all. Whenever somebody wanted me to obey, they teased me with something that I really, really wanted but couldn't get by myself. Worked every damn time and sometimes I'm even ashamed of the things I did because in this moment I honestly wanted to serve them as good as I can. Pain can be only a short-term solution to make somebody obey. Maybe he/she even expects you to punish him/her harshly. Don't be played by your sub. But that's just my opinion / some food for thought.

    Knowing what you hope to achieve should provide you with a lot of self-guidance.
    Do you want your sub to fear and do anything to avoid a serious encounter with your instrument of choice?
    Or
