Hi everyone, Not been on this site for a while, a bit about us. Been into chastity and FLR for about 5 years, my longest period lock with no release is 100 days exactly. I regularly go 30-50 days, my question is to other men or couples who also practice long term chastity. Over the years I have definitely shrunk in size (which is fine) but also I have noticed that now my erections when granted are not nearly as firm or hard, has anyone else noticed this. Am not complaining at all and am happy if this happens, it’s not much use anyway. Just curious if anyone else has noticed similar things happening like this? Thanks for reading

Probably one of the most discussed topics in the chastity community. It's long-term effects. If you search this forum you'll find a lot of similar threads. Some people believe that chastity affects their erection (size, strength, duration), others dont. Some people hope it does because it plays well with their fetish. Truth is, there are no scientific studies on the long-term effects of chastity. So most you'll get is anecdotal evidence. To add to this, I've encountered some short-term changes. After a few days, everything went back to normal.
This is the most appropriate answer. The penis is not a muscle, so there isn't a lot of tissue mass to atrophy; It is a hydraulic chamber made of meat. The little "balloons" holding the blood during an erection may stiffen up with non-use, but after a few days of being allowed natural erections, there's no reason for them not to stretch out back to their normal size.
I haven't done anything long term (10 days max), but I do struggle to maintain erections after I'm let out. After a few days of being out, everything's back to normal though. Also, viagra helps .
Same here, first erection after my cage is removed my madam said how smaller it was compared to the last time she handled it.
i can just report my personal experince; i'm caged since 2007, over time i see a decrease in sex actraction and erection as well, today i'm impotent; now is this related to long chastity? not sure, what i beive is that long term chasity have effect on my mind and help become impotent, but is not the only reason.
Personal experiences are funny; they are self-reported data points, but by their very nature are confounded with other variables. My own personal experience after 20 years of on & off wear, plus the last two years of 24/7, is that I have no loss of libido whatsoever. I haven't had an uncaged erection since last June, but there was no problem at the time, and judging by those 4am wake-up calls (yes, I still get them sometimes), plus whatever I can feel going on in my cage when Mrs Edge and I get a chance for some lovemaking, my plumbing is working as well as ever. As I said, I'm a self-reporting sample. I could be an outlier, but my gut tells me that most of those men who report such issues have a few other things going on, mental or medical, that makes the data unreliable, or at least, confounded.
I didn't notice any shrinkage with cages that let me grow in them. I do find significant shrinkage in my micro cage. We've even modified it by filling in the cap section so it pushes my penis up into my body, rather than sit partially in the metal "cup" section. The rest of the effects are likely a combo of training against wanting an erection, and age, to be honest. I figure that if I was unlocked for a while and made to get erect a number of times, the shrinkage would reverse. The way I'm wearing it has stretched the shaft skin a fair bit, to the point that I have a somewhat restored foreskin, which is super cool.
