    Hi all,
First time post so be gentle, haha.
I'm having a PA piercing on Friday, but struggling to find where to position it.
Obviously I'll tell the piercer what the purpose is, but need some more info if he hasn't come across this before.
I've read on other posts that it should be 3/4" from tip, but surely everyone's anatomy is slightly different.
So looking for a better description, anatomically, for where it should be positioned. A diagram from underneath would be perfect.
It will be for a tube only device.
    Many thanks in advance.

I would say, just slightly more to the back than the frenulum (or it's place, if you had it removed).

You're correct with discussing it with your piercer.

I may be mistaken, but my understanding is that there isn't a set distance. Instead you order your device and let them know the measurement (or you pick it).

FYI, I'm working on sizing up another time or two then will be picking a PA device. So please let us know how it goes and what device you decide on (I'll do the same).

As for the PA. It's not as bad as you'd think and once you heal it's quite nice IMHO.

I'm going for a BA-33, they locate the PA hook to your measurements. So piercing first .
    Thanks for the reassurance.

I thought that was the way with most of the better cage makers.

Yea PA first. Get it, get healed and then worry about being locked up

Be sure a mention the PA is going to be used to secure a Chastity Device.
I did and she said she would place the piercing farther down the penis as ( to have more meat to hold it)
She then explained her decision, if closer to the head it could have more of a chance of migrating.
I wear a 1 1/8th inch curved barbell whenever not locked in Chastity. I would said my PA is approximately 3/4" inch down.
I've had it for 14y and never regretted it once.

My own experience with getting a PA piercing: I did not tell my piercer what the piercing would be used for and we discussed where it would be. The only real decision was which side of the frenum it would go. the hole position was behind the head and before the start of the foreskin. Now, because I have been circumcised, obviously where the scar has healed the skin is a lot tougher, so the piercer had to go closer to the head than normally, however, so long as you have a good gap between the urethra and the PA there will no chance of migration.
Once you have your small piercing, you must let this fully heal, I remember it was about 6 weeks. This helps to stop migration.
After healing you then need to stretch the PA up to 5mm approx. (4mm minimum, Possibly 6mm) This is done in stages. The early stretches are the hardest because as a % of the circumference of the hole, the early ones are the biggest step up. Between each stretching you need to allow healing times.
Once you achieve your desired size, you are ready for your new cage!

So it has to be to one side of the fren
So it has to be to one side of the frenium?
An earlier poster suggested just above the frenium.
I am uncircumcised if that helps any.

I would be very concerned if the piercer did not have experience or knowledge of where to place a PA piercing based on the how the piercing will be utilized. In fact, I would have thought that conversation would have taken place before setting an appointment.

PA with a curved bar and sufficient room for erection measured between lower edge of urethra and piercing (referred to as setback)

As referenced from Elayne Angel's, Piercing Bible

1/2 inch (minimum) setback for jewelry.
3/4 inch (minimum) setback when used for chastity

Thank you so much, very helpful.
Specialist piercing shop, with PAs on the "menu".
I'm certain they'll have done this for chastity before, I was lucking for "just in case" advice

As you can see here, I have my piercing slightly to the (my) left of the frenum, behind the head and in front of the circumcision scar. This gives me about 1/2 an inch. My urethra is also relatively low down on the head meaning it was difficult to get much more than 1/2 and inch.

    Hopes this helps
