Should I ask my girlfriend to lock me back up or not?

Aren't you better off suggesting to her that she can lock you if she wishes?

 

ASK her if she enjoys locking your bits
OFFER her the chance to lock you or if she would prefer you lock yourself and just give her the key. This gives her a choice and at the same time dropping a hint that you are willing and interested

 

Coincidence that I read this. So I have been locked 17 days since the alterations to my cage; my wife is more than happy to keep me locked permanently and if don’t rub her feet there is zero chance. So like you I don’t want to top or even suggest anything as I want her to discover for herself and take matters into her own hands however she sees fit. I appreciate she isn’t a mind reader and I make a lousy sub as it stands but wonder how to lead or suggest , impossible situation !

I think this is the correct question to ask (yourself not her):

If you're like me, you will get benefits if you're locked. But she has to have a reason doing so and just making you a favour can be a reason for her, but it feels much better, if she WANTS you being locked.
Therefore I would approach the topic from another side, maybe have a talk or chat which explains how you change and what you think about her when being locked and that you like how You change when beeing locked.
She must feel that you are a different man, when beeing locked. Give her 5x times the attention like before and you'll find yourself being locked very soon.

It's worth saying: it usually takes the dominant partner a while to own their role. Your best approach right now is to ask her to lock you up, then persuade her to take the keys. It then takes a positive decision on her part to unlock you.

 

Maybe lock your self up, and hand over the keys to her as a gesture?

 

I have a spare key which I haven’t used plus my wife has the option to security tag it which I forgot to mention

 

It appears to me that you need todo a lot more of what most men hate.... maybe she is waiting to see if she can get you to do it more.

Communicate

I don't think any of the ladies on this site will mind me saying that as a general rule most of them really enjoy communication, and the smart ones appreciate it more when it is instigted by a male partner because they know how difficult most guys find it is to do it.

 

Just give her the keys and tell her it’s available for use as she pleases. If you get unlocked, relock as soon as she is finished and give the keys back. She may be feeling guilty about locking you back up so you can alleviate that.
