I wouldnt say you are 'cheating' Everyone needs to start somewhere and progress slowly. As for the pain, its normally uncomfortable at first and can be just because you arent used to it yet but could also be that its not fitted right or that its simply not the right cage for you. What kind of soreness are you experiencing?
