I think ,in my opinion you only need to belive in a supiorer being, it does not matter what religion you follow there is only one superior being, All these religous wars are crazy we are all supporting the one god in our own way.
When others realize this thousands of lifes will be saved.

But I think the flying spaghetti monster is better than your god, and that if you believe in some other god then you are evil and you need to be sent to the unterwelt where you belong.

I'm the one and only superior being, bow before me or face my wrath.

Or @L-u-c-y is, and maybe she and I will debate that while roasting you over a hot fire.

I love how there is so much in nature that reveals God. For example Nano machines. We've discovered, for example, that the bacterial flagellum has entire engine with: drive shaft, rotor, stator, bearings, high RPM's, forward and reverse, and only a few nanometers in size. Couldn't have evolved that way as removing any one part it becomes useless. Here is a 3 min video on that for those interested.

Don't be fooled by things you don't understand, it doesn't mean god is involved, it simply means you don't understand. Worse though, is when you don't understand and instead of saying "I wish to know more", you say "God did it, I can stop thinking now".

I'm sure, if you were genuinely intersted to learn, and hadn't already thrown your hands in the air declaring "god did it" then you cold find some really great papers to read.

BTW - Stephen Meyer is a Doctor of Philosophy and creationist fruitcake, he's probably never looked down a microscope except when trying to find his willy.

Only the three major religions believe in the same God. There are many other gods of other religions. And guess what?... The one's fighting all the time, do believe in God, the same God, and not the other gods. It is well known by everyone that they share the same God, and yet they still fight... So then thousands of lives should be being saved! So I guess I'm asking... What is your point?

If I have a problem with the bible I have read it all then it is simply that the bible was compiled many years after ALL the events in it. I enjoy its mix of partial facts and fiction. It is based on a number of books around 63 were used and about 75 were not. because the content or messages of excluded books did not fit the agenda of the compilers

So its not a complete fairy story .
    Where is the
mention of Lilith ...Adams first wife, like him made from dust and equal to him in every way and was kicked out of eden for being a feminist to be replaced by eve made form part of adam and ever subservient to him. I think we can al see why all of that was presented as it was by these men from a strictly patriachal society

Where is the book of judas who was I'm told carrying out the wishes of jesus when he 'betrayed' him
    or Enoch?

What one does or does not accept or reject re the bible does not necessarily reflect upon one's belief in deities or any one if them in particular.
