The break in period starts now. My plan is to write at least one time every two weeks as a minimum in this thread, even though it most likely will be more often. After having used a modified Chinese device that roughed up my nutsack pretty good, a cherrykeeper device was ordered. Received it yesterday and wore for two short sessions. Slightly longer is planned for today, my K/H and I decided that during the break in period i get unlimited access to the key since I'm the one feeling when it needs to come of. Doing it with the old proverb: "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" in mind. Rather not rush the break in period. I have not done any sanding on the device as of today. Will most likely sand later on, at least on the ring. Alot of members on this forum has provided some valuable tips. I was planning on going to town with the Dremel and a polishing compound, was told it's not a good idea since the heat will most likely fuck up the material. And who am I to not trusting the elders. An other proverb that sorta applies: "Beware of an old man in a profession where men usually die young." But I rather think of it as "Beware of and old man in a lifestyle where most quit early from lack of commitment"
First update, chafing on the nutsack. Will sand the ring and see if that helps. And also shave or if K/H deem a waxing to see. Otherwise there will be a new base ring with an other angle
Second update for today. Was not able to wear the device for a complete hour, my prime suspect is the gap. A part of every journey is trail and error, to confirm my suspicion I took out the heat gun. I have read that you can reshape the nylon if you slowly apply heat. So here we are, first try after increasing the gap. If this works a new ring with a different ange will be purchased. New hour on the clock now.
McGyver mode was activated yesterday. Brought out the heatgun and blasted the ring with heat and then pressed it to change the shape (in order to increase the dreaded gap). The cherrykeeper device is made up of nylon, a thermoplastic that can be manipulated with heat. Also the surface texture was changed after the heat. Before the heat gun i had went to town with 400 grit regular sandpaper and 1200 grit wet paper. After the "heat treatment" i went to town again with the sandpaper. A whole lot smoother surface texture than before. Yesterday my K/H (fiance) also decided that i should be waxed. So both bald and smooth downstairs now. Today i managed to wear the cage and ring longer then before and have little to no issues. So far I'd say my McGyver modifications was a success
Thanks for the nice replies. For each minute now I'm pushing the "record-time". We have a Swedish proverb that says "Skynda långsamt", meaning something like hurry slowly. So will go a few more days with longer wears before my first overnight. I'm still very satisfied with the modification I was able to do.
Found out that i pull the ring back the furthers I can (so i get more of a hanging sack) it chafes and burns less. Also someone (probably more than one), don't remember whom, on this forum mentioned Aquaphor cream. Pro tip and thanks for the advice.
Okay, have been off for a while. My modifications did not work out as good as I had hoped. So now I'm waiting for two new rings (different sizes) and a new cage from cherry keeper
Some light sanding of seams from manufacturing process worked for me. I also tried to open the end gap a bit for urinating. I’m thinking a bit more would help but haven’t got to it. Too bad it’s not a one size fits all thing but anatomy is funny like that. Best of luck, peace!
Thanks will sandig with up to 2000 grit wetpaper, got my last ring really smooth that way. I ordered one double ring also. Hopefully I manage to hit it right. Switch from round ergonomic to all oval ergonomic
The package has arrived today, slightly larger rings (and different shape) and cage. Testing it out for a short time without any sanding. Will probably sand at least the rings
That probably now has become a reality. The rings are now subjected to elbow grease and increasingly finer grits.
The tall oval double ring seems to work fine. Been using it a couple of hours the last few days. I'm using Eucerin Aquaphor on the ring when, that seems to work as a charm
Woke up at 06:00 (24h format) last night and had to remove the cage due to a painful nocturnal erection. Have used the cage everyday the last week. Done 17 hours as the longest. Will try to sleep with it again, maybe taking a piss will sort out any nocturnal erection pain. Still using the aquaphor as lube and it works like a charm
Ni har också "proverb" ;" mannen måste ofta gå, nuförtiden är det så. Heja grabbar, frisk humör det är det som susen gör" Welcome to the Mansion! Enjoy Your stay in cage too!
