Yes it's a kink, but you are wrong when you say nothing more. Perhaps to some folks. I guess it depends why they are doing it. To me and my KH, it is a lot more. The kink results in some great sex. The more is greater attention, and emotional connection. I also think there are spiritual aspects to it that you just don't get from other kinks.

If you think about what a kink is, it's something that is associated with sexual arousal. There are folks locked for months at a time, even permanently. I think it's less a kink than a lifestyle. Similar to whether someone chooses to be gay. Is being gay a kink? I'm not gay, I don't know, but I bet if I asked a gay man if it was a kink, he'd unequivocally tell me no.

You may be thinking of chastity as a form of bondage. As such, yes, it is a kink and has little spiritual in it although bondage and pain can be spiritual too.

Look back through history. There are many religious practices that involve chastity. Chastity was used as a way to get closer to God. I use chastity as a way to get closer to my wife. Is it spiritual. You bet your ass it is.

I agree it can be spiritual. I don't normally react well to chastity being de-kinked, trying to convince each other that hoovering with a cage on is how to get your KH aroused... please. I think we can make it more popular, if we use stickers, t-shirts etc with this statement... My kh and I have discussed that if we didn't have each other we'd probably be unlikely to find anyone to do this with again. Oh sorry - I didn’t realize you were asking specifically about my guy. He’s great! There have been a few times where we’ve had to take it off for a few days because of chafing but he stayed chaste voluntarily then. However I gather from the couple friends I told about it that when they brought it up to their husbands they weren’t interested. Which is too bad - I think it really could have helped their relationships.

 

I don't have any friends close enough that I could talk to them about chastity but man, every day (one month in) is a discovery. Ok, maybe I'm now a fan, but chastity (at least the way we're practicing it) is one of the single greatest lifestyle choices with the greatest impact on ones personal life and the health of a relationship that I think I've ever experienced.
