I'm thinking about commiting to Locktober this year. That is if the cage I've ordered is a better fit for long term wear.So to keep me on the straight and narrow during October I've registered on the Chaster.app site. I've been nervous about using this site after seeing the threads about adding time to users locks and the about of time added. But with a wife that is very vanilla and possibly never be my keyholder i wondered if the site might be a way forward for myself locking. It all looks very interesting and I like the different options of locks it gives you. So I was about to order a combination key box (one of those for external use fix to a wall) but then though there must be a sexy, better looking box available. What do other members use to lock their key away in when using Chaster.app?
I use the kind of combination key safe you're talking about and it works pretty well. Agreed it might not look the best but it does the job and it's cheap! Chaster is actually pretty good for self locking. You can configure your own lock so the only others can add time is if you allow it. It has a few fun options to increase the risk of being locked longer but again you can control this. Of course you can join another users lock or give control of your lock to someone else for a thrill but it's pretty risky.
We use a qiui keypod. It was glitchy to start with but works and is small and discreet. We set my mistress as my master, she sends the unlock command through the WWW to my phone which Bluetooths the keypod. There's a community bit with online keyholders but personally I wouldn't. My mistress liked chastity anyway but loves controlling her toy using her phone. It can lock manually without logging it which is a shame because I'm expected to lock after work, shower or changing cages which is time critical. We overcome this by me sending lock up videos on whatsapp so it's still timed and controlled, kind of. It's a cute system and let's us play when we're apart. You wife might like, no?
Thank you for the suggestion but this sounds way to complicated for my wife to use. She is not very technical minded never mind computer savy. We also don't spend much time apart as I'm retired and she is working from home. I'm hoping there is a small combination lock key box that is a more appropriate box for storing chasitiy keys . Otherwise, I'll purchase the same style of key safe that Buck Roger's uses.
I'm in the same boat - my KH won't like an app controlled device. What kind of key safe does Buck Rogers use?
Just search for key safe on Amazon or eBay. There's a load of different versions, think I spent about a tenner. Does the job, not sure what spending more on the branded (Master lock) gets you. Might be a more reliable locking mechanism, might just be a nice logo!

Yep it will so looks like this is the only option. I'll get one sorted. Could be an opportunity for some one to develop an alternative specifically designed for locking up chastity keys. A 3D print that has a combination lock installed within the casing perhaps? Some chastity related decoration on casinge would make it ideal?
I’ve used a similar lockbox, and the Photo-TLock app. Works fine, until you lose the combination, and discover that you can brute-force a 4-disc in about 20minutes. Probably way faster if you have a feeling for locks. Kind of lost the magic for me right there.
We are using an almost identical lockbox to that one. My very vanilla key holder who was very reluctant in the beginning has been fine with it for over a year and a half. But I never asked her to get the key out more than once a week
