You're half right about Artemis. She was the known more as the goddess of the moon and as a huntress. She also represented maidenhood. This is similar to the idea of chastity but it is very, very different from the modern kink

It had nothing to do with tease and denial. It was more about forgoing romantic relationships entirely for the sake of focusing on a greater cause

Plus, the daughters of Artemis were all female. Men weren't even part of the equation

 

I gave my wife a necklace that had a lock, key and heart on it for Valentine's Day. It really has a nice appearance. Sadly, she doesn't wear necklaces and I haven't seen her wearing it yet.

My KH/Mistress always wears a heart key necklace that goes to my cage’s lock. It has my initial engraved on it. To people in the lifestyle, they would know but I promise you, a majority of the public has no clue, especially given the popularity of key necklaces. She’s been asked about it only once at a bar and she simply replied that I gave it to her as a gift and it’s a key to my heart.

I also have a shirt that says caged on it but nobody, I’d assume even people in the lifestyle, would have a clue what it represents, especially given my demeanor/look.

 

My wife/kh wants nothing to do with providing anyone with any sort of indication of our arrangement. I bought her a gold necklace with a key on it for her birthday. She made me return it as she wants our play to be completely private. I respect her position.

We got dressed up to attend high school graduation for our first grandchild today. My wife stunned me by wearing this necklace to the ceremony, out to lunch and to the graduation party. It was the first time she's worn it. And we were with all of our family all day including some who came from out of town. It looked really great with her outfit. I'm really curious if she received any compliments or comments. She never wears necklaces so I was thrilled that she chose to wear this one!

 

I saw a woman on the street today with a key necklace like that. I wonder whether it was just an innocent piece jewellery or if there was a deeper meaning...
