I need help with suggestions for a new cage so I joined this group. I also really like this forum and appreciate we have this. I bought my first cage CBX cb6000s. (2.5 inch cage) I use the #4 base ring - 1 5/8 inch. (41mm) The cage was way too big for me. I then upgraded to the Mr. Stubb. (1 3/4 inch cage) It was a good size but just slightly too big. I then bought the mini me cage (1 1/4 inch cage) Always kept using the same base ring. The longest I go is morning until night but have never slept in it. I’m looking for a cage I can sleep in. I find the mini me cage starts to hurt my tip after about 12 hours. Also When I unlock the skin is very sensitive and the head has some marks on it. Also I don’t love the u ring on this device as I think it’s a little thick and gets in the way. Don’t get me wrong I do love this cage but I just don’t see it working long term. I wanted to try a metal cage. Which lead me to a 45mm (1.77 inch) cage, diameter 30mm (1.54 inch) and ring dimension 40mm (1.58 inch) ring (slightly smaller than the cbx) but fit. Also the ring had a curve on it which I really liked. It fit better on my body. I just don’t think it’s realistic to wear a strap on a daily. Also there’s a nice bulge in my pants which is just slightly too big. I do love how the strap keeps support though and my member feels very comfortable in this cage. Also bathroom breaks are much easer with metal cages. With the plastic I’m always worried I’m going to leave pee in the tube and I don’t like that. One thing about this cage is after a day of wearing it my head gets marks on it and very get sensitive. Overall I did like the metal cage though. I’m torn on what my next cage should be and the material. I’ve read up on so many different ones and can’t make a decision. I am looking at: Holy Trainer, Cobra, mature metal. Which one? And what size? I was also thinking of going custom but I just don’t trust myself to get all the measurements right. I have a 1.77 inch metal cage and plastic 1.25 inch cage and just barely fit into both. Go figure. I also do want to mention I workout a lot a def. Need something I can ride the Peloton on. I need a cage that will be comfortable and most of all will do no damage to me over time.
Welcome to CM! If you are this involved already I’d suggest going to Mature Metal… they are pricey but you get what you pay for.
Try the Terrance chastity mini stainless steel on Amazon it has been a very good cage for me , I'm locked 24-7 around 7-10 days at a time until my Miss deems it's time for play time. Sometimes it's only 5 days but regardless it's when she wants it.
No I don't I use the strap for sleeping it pulls the cage tighter and helps with night time erections
The Mature Metal Jailbird is probably the most popular custom steel cage. I’ve had one for years and after a lot of other devices that is what I settled on. Just follow their measurement instructions carefully.
No I don't need it to hold it up, it is a leather belt style strap at night I can tighten it a lot to keep it tight tome not to allow any pull away during night time erections, it helps a lot.
With a properly sized base ring, the accibdental pullouts during sleep will be rare. I’ve never used a waist strap.
I've never had an accidental pull out the strap Just holds the cage tighter to the body, reducing the amount after erection allowed I've never had a cage that would allow me to pull out either accidentally or purposely
Hi! Welcome to the community @Caged and love it I started in the chastity with a CB6000 and after CB6000S. I changed to the Holy Trainer devices to test different concept, and with the this change, from my point of view the CB's are the worst devices for daily wear I found a great change in HT devices. It's true that initially the concept to introduce the balls into the closed ring was difficult (CB have an open ring), but with practice is very easy and useful. I used a Holy Trainer Small, Nano and now a Nub model (the smaller one). I have been reducing the size of the ring progressively with every new cage. I prefer plastic devices for daily use and standard routines. The devices are discreet and very comfortable. I wear a device almost 24/7. I don't have experience with metal ones, but I have curiosity to test. They have great reccomendations. In my case, updating devices to the correct dimensions, I don't use strap and cage is attached correctly to the body. It Is very important to wear a correct ring and device. Now i'm evaluating to use a strap. Nowadays, I use the smaller cage for daily routines, and one size bigger (old device and big ring) for sleep. With small cage for sleep, I have a lot of problems and "night pains". It's true that in the last years appeared a new models and brands (maybe better than HT). I'm sure that all these new models will be better than CB's.
I also transitioned from CB-X brands to metal. I currently use a Jail Bird from Mature Metal and highly recommend that manufacturer. They sell sizing rings to help you identify your perfect size.
I also have a Jail Bird from MM. I am caged 24/7 over a year with no issues. I cannot be happier about my cage. Be patient with measurements and type of the cage.
