He puts human flourishing as most important, and looks at BOTH positive and negative sides of technology's.
We take what fossil fuel give us for granted.

 

I can give you the scientific explanations, if you wish. But, yes. Most of the "green" techniques today have an overall negative impact on the planet.

These Ivermectin studies are important because of the mass rejection of IV as a solution. If IV was as effective as many said then the powers that be compromised a solution for billions of people for the sake of Bug Pharma. I don’t disagree with your main sentiment however. I think the numbers would have been similar without IV. But I don’t think the jab would have proven as necessary.

And, dare I say, fossil fuel IS green energy.

Plants grow with the energy of the sun. They die. A long time later we harness that energy. Same with hydro. Sun lifts the water vapor and it falls later as rain and we use the resulting kinetic energy of “falling” water that was lifted by the sun.

No matter how you slice it, our energy comes from the sun. There’s no free lunch.

Can you clarify please? You generally do not support ivermectin as a prophylactic or treatment—or both?

I tend to agree that prophylaxis is unneeded. But my understanding is that ivermectin is a good early treatment.

Best prophylaxis is a healthy lifestyle and immune system!

 

Isn't Covid a flu or cold that was modified in a lab?

Come to think of it, typing that, I wonder if flu is modified in the lab so people buy flu shots. The more this goes on and the more we learn the more I'm not liking hat we're learning.

It makes me wonder if a Matrix like ignorance would be better for us? Being intelligent and being able to think and put the pieces together can be maddening at times!

 

Best cures for Flu, chicken soup, zinc, rest, vitamin D. Elderberry to help the zinc get where it needs to be, which is the same as quinine or Ivermectin, IIRC, gets zinc inside the cell to stop viral reproduction. Should be fine in a few days to a few weeks, depending on genetics.
E.G., C-19 apparently was bad in Asian countries because of a specific pathway in the cells of Asian decent, I forget the gene tag, but it infected Chinese especially badly. Now, would be interesting to ask if it was worse for Han or Qian or Xing or (???) Chinese, as according to our Chinese national intern, they're VERY racist... But he wouldn't be able to tell me that.

Meantime, the markets are tanking and the talking heads (on all day at work) are saying "EVERYTHING'S WONDERFUL!!!!" while you can watch the markets in freefall, basically, and the Brits just mandated that pubs close at 9, and you can't cook between 2 PM and 8 PM...
And in USA half the population has been declared "Enemy of the People!" by a dementia patient channeling Der Fuhrer, and the WEF is planning how to ensure we eat bugs.

This shit is insane, and I fear the only "cure" is in "hardware and precious metals."

This weekend I had a minivan full of religious types out recruiting for their church come to the house. I saw them while I was walking my dog as they stopped at the first house on my street. They then went to the second, then third, etc. well to make a long story shorter (this isn't going to be short), they were a few doors down when I got home so I put the dog in, then took my little run about car and blocked the driveway.

Now we have a horse shoe driveway so there are two entrances. As they came to the house they attempted to pull in, but the first entrance was blocked with the car I just put there. So they block the road for a minute then pull into the second entrance.

Now I'm getting pissed more than I already was. For those that don't know, I have PTSD pretty bad from a workplace violence incident. And people in masks make me uncomfortable. Yes this is documented and a real issue due to a documented condition with a licensed PTSD therapist. Anyway this minivan full of religious zealots was wearing their Covid submission rags on their face. And I don't like people that recruit for their church. To me if your church needs yo7 to go out and try to get me to come, it's not a place I want to be.

Anyway, I live out in the country and have a little bit of land. I also have my car, my truck and my sons truck on the property. My partner wasn't home so hers wasn't there. Now my son left his truck out of gas in the field where I needed to mow. So as these folks are piling out of the minivan, I'm now putting gas in his truck. I start it and then hop in, I rev it up a little out, then start towards them.

I don't know about most people, but if me ignoring them when they were at the neighbors, me moving the car to block the drive, and then ignoring them didn't give them the message, you'd think starting a truck, revving it, and driving it to you at a fast rate of speed would be a clue that I want you to leave and I'm not going to be nice.

Noooo these folks don't get it. But then again, I'm laughing inside as their germ spreader rags are cutting off the oxygen to their already limited capacity brains. So I drive the truck aggressively and quickly close to the lead zealot. Close enough to make him wonder if I'm going to hit him. I then park the truck. And quickly head back past him towards the mower. And he still continues to come towards me. WTF?

I finally stop and yell, I'm not buying what you're selling. He looks at me dumbfounded. So I continue. "BTW if you take off the germ spreading masks, you'd stop making people sick". Where I live few wear the submission rags, and many are getting tired of this Bs. It's only when going into town that we see people wearing them. So he looks at me starts to get an angry look and turns back to the minivan, Finally he gets it. I continue on with the chores but watch them work their way back to the minivan and pile in.

Now yes, I was acting like an ass. But damn I'm sick of this. And the little patience I had I'm losing. Plus this was on my property and if someone is going to trespass and wear something I don't approve of that could make me sick, I want them gone. Plus in a way it was fun to mess with them. It was also a little test to see how aggressive I could act and how they'd react.

Anyway I guess the point of this long reply is that the mask wearers don't get it. They won't get it, and it's clear they just won't listen. Worse, my little test shows that even when someone is clearly acting in a way that most normal people would see as aggressive and dangerous they still do whatever they think. They'll even come on your property and keep coming towards you. I've thought about answering the door with a shotgun, but I don't want to deal with the cops and waste their time, if/when they call the cops. Ironically I know most of the cops and they're cool and know the law and would back me. But still there's no point.

So sadly as I write this and think, I think this is getting to be a zombie apocalypse.

Really well told scene Tom. I attend church. An extremely small portion wear masks. I shake my head at them. I pity the stupid. And masks and shots are really a form of idolatry—the biggest sin. (Those who treat government as their God).
