You will be perfectly fine going through airports. I have worn the v4 Nano through many including the body scanners. Its still a thrill but nothing has ever come of it.
Ask for a pat down instead. Show up early to give you extra time. Be calm and proud and respectful. Or take it off in the bathroom just before, and put it back on just after Funny story. I was wearing my cage through security as I’ve become accustomed to do, as I’ve had zero problems…. and my carry on tripped something. The bag screener didn’t like the look of the security screw bit in a stubby driver handle. It looked stabby. I’m glad she didn’t confiscate it. I keep the driver and bit separate now. It’s no big deal. Your little nub isn’t going to threaten anyone. And your balls may feel big and heavy but they aren’t effective bludgeoning weapons. Welcome.
