Castration fantasies are certainly found in chastity followers. Although I find the idea of banding to be more erotic as the separation is slower and more time is there to consider the extent of loss by the sub male. But I agree with @MRS.Lilith that being in chastity which really highlights your urges and how you no longer control them, is far more powerful. i've never really understood why chastity often has this fantasy link to castration. In my opinion, a large part of the 'fun' is in being brought to a fever pitch of excitement but denied the actual release of orgasm. A much more fitting fantasy operation would instead be a penectomy; your balls remain, providing the sex drive, but the usual way of achieving release is missing.

 

Chopping balls off is a good way to bleed to death.
