New around here!

Hi everyone!

I’ve been lurking around reading chastity blogs and forums for a few years now, but the time has come to actually sign up as I have some questions I’d like to ask before investing in a custom device. I’ll post them in another thread later on.

So who am I?
I’m a guy in my late twenties who came out as submissive to my girlfriend about 4 years ago. We had just moved in together, and I remember thinking to myself ”I should have told her earlier, now I’ll have to find a new apartment!”

I’d been repressing my submissive side all my life, thinking I was weird and that there was no place for a submissive male in this world. She was surprised of course, but she didn’t make fun of me, and she didn't seem to think any less of me either. While she didn’t understand, she was still open and willing to listen. For me, this was a complete shock and I didn’t really know how to explain any of my feelings as I’d been repressing them all my life.

Today, 4 years later, we’re still living together and we're still trying to figure out how to ensure that we both get what we want and need out of our relationship. We’ve learned a lot about ourselves and each other during these years, but we still have a long way to go. We bought our first chastity device (HT v3) last winter and played around with it a bit before Covid hit, but then all of that was put on hold as the world turned upside down. Hopefully, we’ll get back to exploring this lifestyle soon enough.
