    With valentines day looming i was just perusing as you do down memory lane and i stiumbled across Nana Maskouri singing the theme from Love Story on you tube, brought a lump to my throat(just the throat)! anyone have any songs that remind them of their loved one at this special time of the year?:anim_37:

    Well, my daughter was born on Valentine's Day, so it's doubly special for me :) The song that always gets me is "My Valentine" by Martina McBride. I cry whenever I hear it. I've sung this to my her since she was born. Here I go...tearing up. Listen to it. It's so beautiful.

    I would just like to say that Valentine's day does not LOOM! Lol. How depressing.

    We don't really "do" Valentine's like I used to with my previous partners, because pet "is" Valentine's Day EVERYDAY! (Ok, about 95% of the days!)

    If I had to pick a song it would be pet's version of Mockingbird by Eminem, that he rewrote and rerecorded for me in his little home studio before we were together. That blew me away, and I always think of him when I hear it. :cupid-arrow:

    I stand by my statement Mistress Watchful LOOM is the correct word as it approaches and i try desperately to surprise my lovely wife with a romantic moment although having read your answer that pet wrote and recorded a song for you has certainly put the mockers on anything i had come up with..................LOOM is the word...lol

    The only Valentine's Days I can remember now are the last one with my husband (I phoned him from outside a jewellery store and asked to buy a 450 pink sapphire and diamond bracelet, and he said yes... at that moment I realised the romance in our relationship was truly dead!)

    The other was Valentine's Day 2007, we were in our favourite boutique hotel in Brighton, and I was 6 months pregnant. That's when I presented him with his first chastity device! :valentine-heart-loc

    Valentines day gifts

    This year I was a little less traditional and did not go with the standard box of chocolates, or lingerie. Instead, I purchased my wife a Tiffany's 'key' necklace. Now she will have a key that will look nice around her neck in public. It might even fit the lock on my CB6000 because we use the polished nicked heart shaped lock from JT Stockroom. It comes with a mini skeleton key similar to the Tiffany key.

    I also got her a dark chocolate heart and key chocolate box from Enjou chocolate.com.

    I would like to get her a subtle Keyholder t-shirt to wear, but have not been able to find one. Years ago when the Millers came out with the CB 2000 they sold a Keyholder t-shirt but don't now. I would think someone like Kept 4 Her would.

    We'll probably go out to a movie and nice dinner.

    Anyway, Happy Valentines day all.
